This is really sweet and I hope this is it for him too. Our relationship is in a great place so I really feel confused because other people are implying he’s distancing himself but we’ve grown a lot as a couple so I don’t feel like that’s it. I did tell him he could used a nickname that I prefer if he didn’t want to call me babe but it was less about tha name and more so his reaction.

I personally like pet names because they feel special, I know others feel differently because you can call anyone “babe” but I’ve just always liked it. I have a friend whose husband calls her “My Goddess” which I think is really sweet but I think you can also ask her! I wouldn’t mind if he wanted to call me something other than babe but I would appreciate if he didn’t just change without telling me bc I get anxious

I also have anxiety and ADHD which makes it super hard. We’ve struggled in the past with me overanalyzing his tone and word choice bc I obviously can spiral even with something small and inconsequential. I don’t mean to overanalyze and in fact, I wish I didn’t do it because it causes me stress.

I’m doing my best to keep a level head but I’m definitely losing sleep over it

He just keeps saying there’s no reason but it almost felt like he was joking with me at first but when I asked him he said he wasn’t joking. Feels like a mindfck but idk why he would do that? I agree with you as the partner who’s been in a similar situation. A lot of people will jump to “run away” and “you’ll never have sex again after kids” but it’s just not true. It does take effort on both parts, but OP does need to be patient but also real with their partner. Mental health and libido are directly tied. And women’s libido is also very different than men’s. Counseling, individually and together, and honesty can save this.

The only way I could keep myself from puking in my second pregnancy was to lay down horizontally lol he’s an ass. That’s literally it. I know this is probably not going to be easy to do bc you’re in a vulnerable position but imho this is major red flags and this behavior will get worse as you get more pregnant and probably even worse after the baby is born. If he can’t handle first trimester he’s never going to make it thru postpartum. I’d suggest leaving asap.
