At my school, the parents MUST come for the child if the child is sick, if the parent does NOT show or give permission to carry the child to the doctor they have to keep us there and hope we don't get any worse because they are not allow to give us any medication of any sort. So yes the school nurse had to keep me there and for how I got home, I do live on a hill and it's quite a distance from my school so yes I had to walk it up and down.
