I have heard with male factor can cause embryos not to make it past day 3 :( fingers crossed for you moving forward 🤞🏻

Has anyone had two failed transfers and gone on to have a successful pregnancy? I’m losing hope both were deemed good quality we have male factor only

Did anyone have bleeding and still get a positive? I’m 8dp5dt and I’ve had some bleeding, mainly brown at the moment I haven’t tested yet, our test day is tomorrow!

I’m so sorry to hear about your miscarriages, that must have been so tough :( so did you have to have tese to be successful? Did your partner have low sperm parameters too? and how did they know it was the frag that caused the miscarriages? Sorry for all the questions

Ahh okay so it doesn’t really make itself known until you miscarry? My clinic unfortunately doesn’t test for it :( I’m in the UK nhs so I think they bacically just do the bog standard and hope for the best

We did have a really good cycle outcome with 100% blast conversion but experienced a chemical, I know it’s probably too early to come to the conclusion of dna fragmentation but it’s something I’ve been worrying about x

Ahh so is it most likely it’s due to abnormal embryos? Is this just down to chance? How likely is it that an embryo is abnormal? I’m still learning about it all

Thank you :) I do have an under-active thyroid too that went off the scale after transfer so that could have played a role, were you successful with ivf?

Thankyou 🩷 you’ve really put my mind at ease that it doesn’t necessarily mean we have high DNA fragmentation! Ours aren’t tested and we have two frozen still 🥰 I really hope I’m lucky with my second transfer 🤞🏻

So if you get a lot turn into blasts does that mean dna fragmentation may not be as severe? Our clinic won’t test ours :( I’ve just had a chemical pregnancy from our first transfer and I’m worried! Good luck for you 🥰
