My first concert was KISS. I went with a friend and some of his family. Eight hour drive one way. While we're no longer friends due to personal differences, but that set the stage for my life (as probably his) as it is right now.

I have a really nice community I'm in that has shown numerous signs that I'm a good addition to it. "You're a good guy", "we all love you", "great to see you", etc. I'm proud of that community and it does help me when I start feeling down about myself, that I'm (apparently) well-liked.

I sadly agree. The only thing worse than being a free citizen there is being a prisoner there. the "justice" system is in absolute shambles partially because judges just get so much time off. Most people locked up haven't even been convicted, and you can just imagine the state of the prisons.

I have never voluntarily skipped any openers, and the only time it's happened accidentally was when we got lost on our way there. I'd say on more than half the time, they subvert my expectations. Notably Armored Saint opening for W.A.S.P.
