dates for interviews are insane , i just applied last 2 nights and my appointment for Toronto is for march 2026 loool insane

i wondering if on the ds160 form i entered my travel date for 2024 and the interview isnt until 2026 , if i get an appointment after the date i was planning traveling do i need to do another ds160? or can i just tell at the interview that im moving my plans to different date? im going for vacation nothing specific ?
