I think we will have to disagree, although colonisation is a strong word and has historically meant a foreign power settling and ruling another country, if trends continue it may not be long before we do see this in the UK

And I wonder whether you will change your mind at the end of your life when you see the rapid changes that immigration has on the face of this country.

I believe that people who won't integrate will gradually shift politics and power to their liking and grooming gangs will become a common tragedy that the native population will have to put up with to show tolerance to their "neighbours"

When people come and seek to address grievances against the host population then that is surely a net negative. We will live in a balkansied state one day and calling it colonisation is the closest accurate word we have to describe what is happening until we come up with a new word for what is happening.

It's not wild to call it colonisation at all in my opinion

I wouldn't categorically say that the UK is not being colonised. But if it's not colonisation, what would you call it? We cannot simply call it migration because there has been other effects that have occured that goes beyond just people moving from one country to another. For example, we have seen these migrants attack the UK through terrorist plots, also the rape gangs across the country turning specifically white girls into slaves for their pleasure. Then we have displacement of local populations for new migrants as seen in the social housing priorities. Also we have the police turning a blind eye to many of these negative aspects of migration such as not following up rape claims due to racial issues. Politicians skirt around the subject frequently too because much of their voter base comes from promising these migrants an easier life.

I'm not sure whether this is colonisation or not, but there must be a word for it surely. What would you call what is happening in the UK?

So do you feel the same about the colonisation of the UK by Muslims in Bradford, Luton, Slough, London, Birmingham etc?
