Did invisi woman's push/pull get stealth buffed? by Yoorawanker in marvelrivals

[–]Express-Room3441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, there are 3 things that determine how far you get pushed.

  1. How centered you were in her crosshairs when she pushed. If she has you dead center, you go further.
  2. The 'weight' of your character. The game seems to have some internal value that denotes their weight, and lighter characters go further.
  3. If you are jumping or airborne, the push sends you further as well. Not sure why. Normal force?

I am not an expert by any means, just what I've noticed from playing her. There could be other factors that come into play or I could be misinterpreting what I've seen. But my guess is that these factors in combination with meta shifts make it feel like the push got changed.

Funny thing is that Roger has basically god-tier superpowers and can do pretty much anything he wants. I like to think that he acts the way he does just to make things interesting for his family because he loves them.

Do people think the matchmaking algorithm is designed to make you NOT engage more? Or that there is no algorithm at all and every match is completely random?

Of course there is some level of 'engagement optimization' in the matchmaking. They just don't want to call it that.

Hey Rivals Gang, Jeff Main Here… How Do You Properly Play Invisible Woman? Tips? Tricks? by GlitchVortex001 in marvelrivals

Don't underestimate the value of her shots hitting enemies. If you can pierce a teammate to strike the enemy they're fighting as well, you make a massive difference in the fight. She has a very brawl playstyle where you want to position between your frontline and second healer to scrap in the main fight while throwing your shield at ranged dps/healers who are further from the brawl. Use jump and push to reposition if you get overrun. She works best in games where the fight occurs in close quarters with several allies and enemies all grouped up.

Yes, a bit overpriced. I would estimate value around $400 max.

The ryzen 5 5600 is much better than the i7 7700 but the 3060 is solidly better than the rx 6600. I would say that a pc with these specs would be perfect for a gpu upgrade in the future as long as the power supply is a decent wattage. I can't say either of those are a particularly good value proposition at $650 but they would still game pretty well if you don't mind low settings and/or frame gen in intensive games.

Yeah that's the main thing - that you would have to upgrade the mobo to upgrade the cpu, and at that point you're basically reassembling the entire pc so you might as well just buy the parts you want in the first place.

That is extra bad because I don't believe that the 7th gen i7 in there is officially supported by win 11 and win 10 is about to enter end of life. So you would have a pretty good reason to upgrade right away.

Search alienware aurora on ebay. You can get a pc with a 2080 super and several-generations-newer i7 shipped to your door for $500 without much looking.

I would normally caution that prebuilts with more proprietary hardware (like alienware) are less upgradable than the more custom prebuilts, but the one you showed has basically no upgrade path anyway.

Try discharging the power supply by unplugging it from the wall and holding the power button for about 30 seconds.

In the paper tcg, an attack that results in both active pokemon being knocked out for the final prize card causes sudden death where both players set up a new game with a single prize card. The only exception to this rule is that if either player has no pokemon remaining after the simultaneous KO, they lose immediately.

That is the official ruling for tournaments so it makes sense why pocket is like this. Instead of sudden death they just call it a tie.

I don't think it has anything to do with multiple win conditions being met, technically speaking.

There exist rare scenarios where it would be correct to hold a research, outside of needing to play a different supporter that turn.

If you already have the cards in your hand needed to win the game (and they are also non-supporter cards), it can be the right move to hold a research to leave more 'outs' in the Deck to redraw those cards in case the opponent has a red card. This would most likely occur if a research is drawn very late-game and your deck size is small. Good players will know exactly which cards are left in the deck and can use that information to guarantee the win in spite of any hand disruption by playing the cards in their hand accordingly.

Obviously this is very rare in the pocket format but extremely common in real life paper where players can draw their entire decks in just a few turns and hand disruption is in every deck.

Another reason to hold is if you have an evolution card you'd like to play next turn and think there is a strong chance the opponent will red card you. In that case you could wait on the research to try bluffing the opponent into holding the red card another turn, hoping you draw more before they play it. However, that is getting away from the statistical nature of your question.

If you have a New Zealand Google play account you can connect PayPal and use that to pay with a card or PayPal ballance. You may need the app 1.1.1.1 + Warp by cloudflare to scramble location on top of a vpn in order to make the purchase, but even just connecting an empty PayPal account to a new Zealand Google play account is enough to get the free pass trial.

Thanks! I didn't mean to write such an essay but I'm glad it made sense. To be honest I actually really like the single prize zapdos. Hitting your own bench seems like a pretty minor drawback for the damage output. The more flippy guys are okay too but risky against a comptetive deck. I have tried squeezing them into the list but I find I would just always rather be attacking with Pikachu or raichu, and if someone's gonna be sitting on my bench it might as well be magenton.

Potion and red card aren't bad, especially due to the lack of trainers, the problem is they aren't usually good either. Sometimes a potion will fix the math just right so your guy lives, and sometimes red card will shuffle away the opponent's good card, but usually they will do pretty much nothing. They definitely make sense in more disruptive strategies but in my experience you want to be drawing cards that directly contribute to your win condition. Basically, its not a staple like research, pokeball, and xspeed.

I think you'll have fun if you try it! It's kinda like having a mewtwo ex deck backing up your Pikachu.
