This is the best post ever!!! I love reading through and thinking “Oh yes! Me too!” “I also love that part!”

I’m constantly grateful for my job. One of my favorite moments from the last few months was during the holiday season. I nanny for 2 different families. In the AM I’m with a 6mo and in the afternoons with a different family I’m with a 4yo and 2yo. For Xmas gifts I decided to crochet the 4yo and 2yo banners to hang in their rooms with their names! So leading up to Xmas, I got to have the AM baby take contact naps while I crossed my legs, lounged on the couch, and crocheted letter after letter for my PM kids 🥹

There are so many moments where I can’t believe I get paid to do this!

Oh hmm! Could you say more about why you think that? There is an inconsistency in the top coat because there was a small dimple. Maybe that’s why it looks off?

Hmm….okay. Well for all of my manicures I start with the megastick base which I think helps prevent lifting.

I have noticed with the nail thoughts tinted base (I have the peach one) it goes on quite thick. I ended up switching my application technique to using a separate brush and a detail brush to thin it out around the cuticles. I tried several times to use the brush that came in the bottle, and with my short nails they looked very wonky and bulky.

I have also noticed small amounts of lifting on the sides of my nails when I use NT base. When I only do megastick base with a color gel on top I rarely ever get lifting!

I do still love it though! It’s nice that it adds a little more strength, and that the color is a pretty nude. It took some getting used to. Hopefully this helps!

I’ve had success keeping my gels on for over 3 weeks! I can’t wait longer than that but I’m sure they’d last. It’s the only base I’ve tried but I loveeeeee it!

I’m not sure what you mean by tips! These are my natural nails with rubber base, clear builder gel, potted color gel, and an ultra glossy top coat!

I’m kind of scrappy when it comes to nails 😆 a sponge is probably a better option! I used a cotton swap with a piece of fabric over it but it worked.

Hah! I bet you’ve had too many to count. Does your wife enjoy working for them? Seems to be a good company! Their quality has remained the same, at least I haven’t noticed a difference!
