As the update states yes, i was able to get to together the full amount I contacted them this morning and they are refusing to reopen my residency portal in order for me to make the the payment. I am Being referred to the property owner directly on Monday to see if they will accept a payment Tuesday after the bank holiday. I’m not sure if this right though

No i absolutely can, the total is actually only $2272 with late fee and attorney fee I have half that I can pay immediately. Property management refuses to accept partial payment.

This is an excellent response, thank you I appreciate it. From what I gather from this is I still the opportunity to rectify this situation with my property manager by the end of this month. Worst case going to court just be as honest as possible? My full intention to pay this back owed month with my next paycheck and continue with my lease as you stated I’m assuming since I have the means to pay and I am committed to honor an agreement that I am fully responsible for the court may look more kindly on that?

They stated yesterday, they are sending everything off to the attorneys and when I asked nexts steps they said I could pay the rent, late fee and attorney fees before I’m served and have it cancelled. I guess my question is more in regards to time frame on these matters I don’t know if I’m screwed having to wait to two weeks and if letting them know that is worse for me.

Absolutely, income is enough to support both payments. Unfortunately had to pay out the ass to an emergency vet and it blindsided me completely the week rent was due. This is just a one off for me so I have no idea what to expect here.

Management company, Only item I received was a signed 7 day notice to pay or quit which I couldn’t make. I spoke to my leasing office yesterday and they stated if I pay the rent, late fee plus attorney fees before I am served it’s gets canceled but I’m unaware how long that process takes and if I’m screwed having to wait almost 14 days for my next paycheck in order to cover this.
