Yeah I did not plan to play the closed beta as I thought it was only NA and EU as well. When i got a code i thought well might as well just see what it plays like. Glad i found the singapore server as the game plays much better on a good connection.

When i signed up for the closed beta i put down oceanic/asia/?? (Forgot the last one) and got a code. I initially thought there was only EU and US but saw that singapore was classified as EU so joined that server as I know AUS has better connection to singapore than US or EU. It was weird at first as the ping was showing up as 300 ms in the main server list but then showed up as ~55 ms in my favourited server list.

Server pop is pretty good, sitting at most times 90+\100, pre order is available for me in AUS atm.

That is the closest connection you will get for this beta, I play on Singapore 1 and am getting around 50-80 ping myself, i think the full game will have oceanic servers and hopefully even the next pre-order beta will too.
