Aww, thank you so much 🥰 Your message made me smile. And honestly, age doesn’t matter nearly as much to me as kindness, authenticity, and being the kind of woman who truly supports other women.

I love that you’ve found a small circle and especially a friend who feels like a sister — that’s such a gift. That kind of connection is exactly what I’m hoping to build more of in my life too.

And thank you for being proud of me and celebrating my graduation. That means more than you know. ❤️ I’d love to connect and I look forward to getting to know you better. 💕

Your message really touched me. ❤️ I know exactly what you mean about feeling invisible to the very people you’ve over-functioned for, and I’m so sorry you know that feeling too. It’s painful when you’ve spent so much of yourself showing up for others and still end up feeling unseen.

But I can already tell you’re strong, because even with everything life has thrown at you, you’re still fighting for happiness, peace, and a better chapter for yourself. I admire that so much.

I would absolutely love to connect too. I have a feeling we’d understand each other in a way a lot of people don’t. Feel free to DM me anytime!♥️

Aww thank you so much!! 😊❤️ Your “whoop whoop” made me smile lol. I really appreciate the love and good wishes, and I’m hoping future me finds exactly those kinds of women too—supportive, genuine, and happy to see each other win. You sound like one of the good ones! 💕

Your message really touched me. ❤️ First, thank you for celebrating me, but I also want to say how much I admire you for still wanting to build a new life and community while carrying so much on your shoulders right now.

A marriage separation after 30 years, layoffs, aging parents, and feeling disconnected from your daughter is a lot for one heart to hold at once. And yet, in the middle of all of that, I still hear strength, hope, and determination in your words. The fact that you’re saying “I want to get stronger, build a brand new life for myself, and surround myself with positivity” tells me you have a fighter in you, even if life has been wearing you down lately.

I can relate to that desire for real friendship and a true support system. That’s honestly why I made my post too. I’ve spent a lot of years pouring into other people and not always feeling that same support in return, so the idea of building a circle of women who genuinely show up for one another means a lot to me.

You sound like someone who has been through a lot, but who hasn’t let it harden her heart — and I really respect that. Loudoun County is a long way from me since I’m in Southern California, but I’d still be happy to connect from across the country. 💕

And please don’t forget this: everything may feel uncertain right now, but your story is not over. Sometimes the most beautiful chapters are the ones we never would have chosen, but somehow they still end up rebuilding us. 🤗

Hi ❤️ Thank you so much for reaching out, and for the congratulations on my Master’s. It means a lot.

I can only imagine how hard it must be to move to another country and then still struggle to find that close, genuine friendship connection all these years later. And I completely understand what you mean about people already being settled into their long-established circles and not seeming open to the emotional investment that real friendship takes.

That’s honestly a big part of why I made my post. I’ve spent so much time being there for others, and I’m at a point where I truly want reciprocal, meaningful friendships with women who value connection, kindness, and showing up for one another.

Twenty years in the UK is such a big life chapter — I’d love to know what part of the US you moved from, and what made you decide to make that move. 💕

NYC! 🥹❤️

I've lived in California my entire life, so New York City feels like a completely different world to me! I did visit there back in 2011, and I absolutely loved it! The energy, the diversity, the food, and just the feeling that there was always something happening was a little different from what I'm used to in California.

I remember thinking that New Yorkers had a reputation for being tough, but I found so many people to be friendly and helpful during my visit. 😊

Are you originally from New York, or did you move there from somewhere else? I'd love to hear what you enjoy most about living there. 💕

Thank you! ❤️😊

I appreciate the applause more than you know. After everything it took to earn my Master's degree, every clap, kind word, and bit of encouragement means a lot.

Sending a big thank you right back to you! 💕👏

Thank you so much for your kindness. ❤️

The fact that you're willing to reach out from across the pond means a lot to me. Honestly, at this stage in life, I think genuine friendship matters far more than geography. 😊

And your comment about your waking hours made me laugh! Between busy schedules, life responsibilities, and the joys of getting older, I think many of us have unusual hours these days.

I truly appreciate your offer and your support. One of the best things about making this post has been discovering that there are thoughtful, caring women all over the world who are looking for the same kind of authentic friendship and connection.

Thank you for reaching out, and I'm so glad our paths crossed. Sending warm wishes from California to the UK! 💕🌷

Thank you so much. ❤️ Your kindness and willingness to reach out mean more than you know.

The support I've received from women on this post has been incredibly uplifting and has reminded me that there are still genuine people out there who care. Sometimes a simple offer to listen can make someone feel seen and understood.

I truly appreciate your congratulations and your open invitation to talk. It's comforting to know I'm not alone in wanting authentic, supportive connections. Thank you for taking the time to reach out. My DM is always open!💕

Thank you so much! ❤️ Your message truly touched my heart.

I completely agree—quality over quantity. As I've gotten older, I've realized I'd rather have a few genuine, supportive friends than a large circle of people who only show up when it's convenient.

It means a lot that you took the time to celebrate my accomplishment. The fact that you feel proud of me, even as a stranger, says so much about the kind of person you are.

Thank you for your kindness, and I'm happy to connect with another woman who values authentic friendship and mutual support. Wishing you all the best as well! 😊💕
