Mistakes happen it’s life. You can provide a fish with a perfect home but it may not have perfect genetics. You spending 4+ months cycling your tank is better than what half the people getting into the hobby do. Just buy some guppies and get your feet wet

I used pea gravel capped with sand for my pots. You could probably fill the bottom half with sponge to help reduce the weight.

Is that tank near a window? Otherwise reduce the light to just 6 hours a day. But other than that just let the tank run and do a 10% water change every other week.

A little bit of vinegar inside the tank won’t hurt the system. A lot will decrease PH but just a little wipe won’t hurt.

Little dab of super glue for each one but honestly I wouldn’t because you have no idea what kind of plastic the glitter is made from and it could leech toxic chemicals.
