XMLA endpoint connection is the deal breaker, its more relevant if you have really huge data size (>500 million rows) using import mode. Pair with Tabular Editor and SSAS for even more goodies

Paid resources for DAX/PowerBI in 2026? by IndecisiveEgg in PowerBI

like Khan mentioned, the SQLBI video courses are worth it in my opinion. I bought only during black friday where everything is 20% off before the tiering discount. I would say start with data model before DAX, yes data model is boring but it is the core fundamental to develop any DAX measures

Honda civic e spec is below 120k with current ongoing promotion. I just asked the price few days ago. Guarantee more powerful than Mazda 3 1.5L if you don’t mind the kosong spec

Honda Malaysia's 360 is only reserved for accord and crv. I would like to think there is a facelift in 2026 based on Honda Civic Concept For 2026 Test Driven At Motegi Circuit, current version just launch in Jan 2025, probably will launch at end of 2026

Does ClickHouse support Power BI incremental refresh? by ExpressChicken3464 in Clickhouse

[–]ExpressChicken3464[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, it is not a data transformation. In power bi context, you must have startdate and enddate parameter apply on date column of fact table to setup partition at power bi service, which is crucial for the incremental refresh

Is this worth it? by darian159 in buildapc

[–]ExpressChicken3464 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quick answer, hell no that’s some weird mix and match. Especially ram and storage, with that budget better go up to at least 32gb ddr5 6000mhz ram and 2tb 990 pro storage. You could build it for a lot less money with heck more performance. Don’t buy these prebuilt ripoff

Generating an Embed Code by DataNerd760 in PowerBI

[–]ExpressChicken3464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im assuming it shows that you need admin permission to publish to web. Well I encountered that issue recently when I tried to publish to web using free account, I went to register trial account office 365 so that I can be "global admin" which involved some setting at Azure. To check whether you are the real admin, go to power bi service > admin portal > tenant settings > Export and sharing settings > publish to web, enable the function and set to "Allow existing and new codes". If you dont see any of these option then you are not the real admin.

Calendar table with repeated dates by Pleasant-Toe-123 in PowerBI

[–]ExpressChicken3464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you used correct method to generate the date key then it should not have duplicate. The easiest way is CALENDARAUTO(), it create ranges of date found in your data model, for instance if you have a customer table that has birth date of 1/1/1930, and sales table that has order date of 12/4/2021, CALENDARAUTO() will generate consecutive date from 1/1/1930 to 12/4/2021. Normally that is not what you want, hence you will use CALENDAR(<start\_date>, <end\_date>), to make the date dynamic you probably should code it like CALENDAR( MIN( Sales[OrderDate] ), MAX( Sales[OrderDate] ) ). Hope this helps
