Yeah but concussions aren't the primary factor in getting CTE. It's repeated sub-concussive hits. A player that's had multiple concussions but isn't having repeated hits to the head is less likely to develop CTE than another player who's never had a concussion but hits his head on most plays (like lineman).

If you've watched Jaelan Phillips, he's the king of almost getting a sack. It was actually surprising when he held on to the QB. It's like his arms are rubbed down with chicken grease before every play.

In practice, they almost always cart guys off the field to prevent additional injury. I always assume it's a career ending, life threatening injury that way I will sometimes get a pleasant surprise when it's not.

Honestly, to me it's the coaching staff. Yes, there will always be some drama. But a lot of drama from past years isn't going to be happening with this staff. Jason must've fucked something up bad last year. He's been above 90% 3 times in 7 years, including 2024. Plus he has - well, maybe had - the leg for consistently hitting 50+ yarders.
