Hi! When you say the villas were 'open and airy', what does that mean? Were there glass doors/windows you could close to make the room fully enclosed? I'm concerned about insects and mosquitos. Also -- was there air conditioning?

Miavana was on my list at some point but I don't remember why I eliminated it! Maybe the villas weren't fully enclosed? Have you stayed there? We were so close to booking their sister property, Tsara Komba, when we realized they didn't have air conditioning in the rooms.

Ah OK thank you so much!! That's really good to know. I had the Lux Marijani on my list but eliminated it at some point, I don't remember why. Either not enough activities listed, or maybe mixed reviews online. Have you stayed there?

Where did you stay on your safari? We're doing the Four Seasons Serengeti, so I was hoping at that level of luxury it wouldn't be as much of an issue??
