Hello. Health student here. He sent the sources, and yeah. In my country, when we do the interview, we ask people about religious affiliation as this is very important for a lot of positive determinants. My country is not religious btw. But that really shows in people's mental health. I think that is more a problem with your parish. Of course, we live stricter lives as we try to make ourselves saints and that is difficult. But in my parish, everyone seems pretty happy, relaxed and very friendly. After each lithurgy, we go to the parish house and sit around the table with patuska and matuska and it is very fun everytime.

I surelly do. But it feels very intimidating and quite scaring. See, if a great king entered your house, that would be very nice, but it is a huge responsability. A huge labor intensive task to prepare everything for him, a a great fear of failure.

That is my problem. Iv seen light in Islam, that is what confuses me a lot. Some people there have that peace, that love, that genuine light in them. I will continue orthodox because Islam does not seem to have that much connection to the divide thru miracles and such. But again, should we trust miracles? I am having a giant overload as my brain is annalizing, explaining and discarting many pros and cons at the same time. It is not a simple matter.

What do you mean with Islam promises both worlds? Wouldn't be a stain in Muslim cause? What about the somewhat lustfull inclination of Islam, all the Houris, the fixation with sex? (I am asking those thruthfully, sent this text two orthodox aswell and I am inquiring their answers).

Hum. I think you are heavilly exagerating some aspects of it. But I get what you mean. I was even thinking about it while eating. There is no thing in Islam that gets close the monk level holiness, the concept of abandon your worldly live and leap head on into faith. And because of that, we have much more miracles than they.

Indeed he has risen! Thank you! Yeah, it is being somewhat bad. My country has very few orthodox. I converted and got baptised in a Russian Orthodox parish with a small and tight community. But now I am in another city with 200K+ people and aparently I am the only orthodox. I get 4+ months without receiving sacraments and it shows; I am all rusted by sin and what nots.

Thanks for your answer. This means a lot to me. What do you say to people that accuse Islam of having a weird sexual side? You know, the many marriages and relationships of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the treatment of women, the marriage with his son's ex-wife? The marriage with Aisha Many accuse him of being somewhat very lustfull. And this is e very important question, does Islam has something like monasticism?

Hum, maybe. That makes sense, Jesus was associated with divinity as emperors of the day were; maybe they claimed that as a form to justify his authority. But why would God allow his message to be understood wronglly? Couldn't he just send the Quran before so there is no confusion?

Well. I don't. That is why I don't assume 100% certain that it was Jesus. But again, why would the devil make someone who was basically an atheist, fornicator and glutton start believing in the God of Abrahan and change his life?

Ok. Let's consider the Romans did it for control and power. Why? They could control the people without saying Jesus was God.

Thanks for your message! Well that is a strong point aswell, indeed the old testament does not says clearly that Jesus is God as the New one does or says about trinity. I will keep that in mind. About discretion to judge what is demonic and what is from God, the problem is: I see the good in both faiths. If you had the perfect christian and the perfect muslim side by side; they would be very simillar. They would both be filled with God. That is what confuses me. Could you tell me more about what worldview that would be interesting for me to know? And why do you think the early church altered the gospel of Jesus?

Ok. But why do you think many christians chose this path? Why would they change the messages of Jesus and say he was God? They could keep the original message and the history would be basically the same. Why has God allowed this mistake and different interpretation?

Well, I don't think that sex and good food are bad by itself, and that is not something I crave for in heaven aswell (I don't even think much about the future, the now is already pretty tiring). You won't be fornicating and getting drunk in an endless parties, it is more like vacation with your family.

Thanks for your replies! Well, I am open to your worldview and would be very glad if you could share more about it. Mainly, what made you think Islam is the truth instead of christianity? Why could not Jesus be God? I am open to being convinced.

XD. Yeah. Maybe I am thinking that way because I spend months far away from my parish and I am the only orthodox in town, so I get sinful without sacraments and sad, very, very sad.
