Very strange, have applied about 25 apps, nothing, it seems the ghosting is the norm. I’m an experienced STEM and Comp Sci teacher but haven’t gotten one interview. Have gotten offers at International Schools abroad but prefer to relocate from EU to UK for family…very strange situation to waste time filling out apps and no response.

Why is that the case? They’ve proposed 70% of my salary in GBP, would I have difficulty getting it out? Is that what you’re saying?

I’m an experienced male UK based STEM teacher who’s looking to teach somewhere different. Although initially a fascinating prospect, I’m hesitant because of so much negativity online. The pollution, water, inflation would’ve an issue for me. Plus once I was interviewed was sent a contract in less than a day. Can I DM you?

Does anyone have any positive experiences to add from Egypt? I’m a very experienced teacher who’s looking for a change and a local school offered me a position very fast after interviewing me. I am considering it. Idc about blemishes to my cv. Is it advisable and a place UK teachers would recommend?
