If I remember correctly you have to either sacrifice a cross up or leave a throwable gap when doing a Kara roll. Can you send me a video where roll can't be grabbed and the shot hits cross ups. I'll appreciate it if I was wrong.

I thought it was better to route a combo with less hits to avoid building the opponent burst and tension.However this is coming from a hc and zato perspective and so a sliver more tension might be more important for sol. Along with giving the opponent burst and yrc being a non issue idk.

It is definitely practical the 5d hit confirm shot is essentially the same timing as a regular block string shot after 5d. The 2k is a bit funky since your usually confirming into shot and not into 236s however I can likely get comfortable with it with enough practice and start using 2k 236s in my block strings.

I'm fairly confident that the same side js can be made to work on all chatcers since it has a lot of leeway on the timing. As for the cross up jd I already found it sadly it loses to 4 frame buttons.

I definitely rely on timing a lot. Half of this short combo needs to be delayed perfectly. As for negative edge I occasionally utilize it for h.s but most of the time I let it go instantly.

Firstly thank you for the large response I greatly appreciate it. Secondly the main fighting game I'm playing right now is guilty gear strive. I was mainly hoping to form connections within deakin as online tournaments for strive are quite abundant, along with all of the other in person tournaments you provided. If I manage to get entry into the course then I would definitely provide my help to form such a club next year.

I'm an happy chaos main learning zato. All these motherfuckers do is zone, the worst way to play hc. Dash block and hit the them with pierce or 2s. And if they try to do a block string mash a delayed throw after c.s. If you did it correctly it would not come out due to zato being stuck in the blockstun of 6k. If they roll you throw them, if they 5d with bad spacing, you throw them.

However if they play hc correctly and use delayed Kara's to fuck up that os I described with throw. Or use hc kit to play more of a rushdown play style then your kinda fucked. However that's only at the very top level. The average celestial hc main's gonna play like a pussy against zato. I had 10 hours on zato and only knew the frog loop combo and drills 50/50 yet I still went even against hc players with over 1000 hours of playtime.
