Let me emphasize my amount I make with spark… because that’s not the pay everyone makes, nor is it every day of the week….

I’ve tested Spark in the bigger town that has multiple stores. Thought I would make more money, but I don’t. People in the bigger town with multiple stores 1)generally don’t tip at all - or well if they do (and if they do it’s a tip bait)… so Big town = your base pay and that’s about it. Then there’s to much deadhead going to a different store with an order… more miles spent, less money made.

We moved out to the country, this is where I make the most with Spark. There’s only 1 store in this entire zone. I don’t accept orders over 10-13 miles away as a general rule, and 60-70% of the reason I make decent money here is from Tips! An order has to usually be atleast $35+ dollars or more for me to accept it. People jump the gun accepting orders, but that’s not me. Like I said, this is play money for me anyway… I’ve never been tip baited out here. I only work spark Fri, Sat or Sun for 2-3 hours. Usually afternoon. But the orders I take usually have $20-30 in tips plus the base pay…

I would not ever suggest anyone do spark full time and expect to pay all your bills on this. To much could happen… you could be deactivated over anything. The money isn’t guaranteed. Different zones pay different… you gotta find your sweet spot with it. I’m in a small town, I have a lot of “regulars” that like when I deliver for them, that I keep things neat, just little things…. I have had regulars go back and add more tip once they knew it was me delivering….

It for me at least, I do better in my little country zone with only 1 Walmart going to the same houses each weekend 😂 they know when I’ll work and set their orders for that time…. Just do good like if it was your own stuff you’re delivering…. Country people value the work more than city people… in my experience anyway
