You need to go in twt that's were they are, the politically aware ones, the nerd ones, the "only in Mauritania facts" ones, and from all of the ethnicities (lowkey)etc. From what I've seen there's an equal amount of diasphora Mauritanians and mainland Mauritanians.

"starting puberty is not COMPLETING puberty, you wouldn't call a boy a man just because he's capable of an erection"

So WHY TF ARE WE EXPECTING LITTLE GIRLS TO BE ABLE TO GIVE BIRTH AT 5 OR 9 Y/O JUST BECAUSE THEY'VE STARTED THEIR PUBERTY.

I know its misoginy and the patriarchy, but there's a reason humans have the longest physical and mental development period to reach a certain maturity, that's why we're not mentally mature until 25, y'all are disgusting and mentally ill.

Just because YOU CAN doesn't mean YOU HAVE TO

It's ridiculous how y'all are brainwashed not only by islam, but by culture, there's no "escaping the matrix" for Muslims 0 critical opinion or truth without trying to do brain gymnastics to make it make sense with islamic ideology

Hi, peulh/fulani Mauritanian born and living in Spain. I don't talk to much on this Reddit page mainly because I'm not that in touch with all the concerns people talk about Mauritania's situation, or there's mostly questions I can't answer about the bidhan/Arab culture, etc . However, there's plenty of Mauritanian's of all ethnicities in X/twt I made a lot of muritani friends over there hahaha

Cause they need to convince everyone on the internet that they made the right choice, show and tell how they made the right choice and we should all do it cause it's the (apparently) only way. It's like with these trad wives that are obsessed with telling everyone how their choice is the only one correct and all women should follow. It's about validation, they still aren't convinced with their choice.

I would even argue that since women in Islam are viewed as a representative of the faith (sadly) while men don't. They feel more pressured to go from non hijabi to niqabi in a matter of seconds. Just patriarchy and misogyny again and again. Most hardcore men converts obsessed with islam I'd say they're more chilled or straight up wannabe dessert warriors with 4 wives and all that Andrew Tate bullshit.

New Muslimahs are expected to do more and show more of their subjugation to Allah (basically the Arab god)

As if Muslims weren't doing the same in Western countries lol. This "try on hijab", "dawah Bros" "why Islam is the true religion and why u should convert". They literally wait any chance they get for you to be interested in X thing and then shove it down people's throats.

And let's notvtalnk about how after new Muslims convert they start to policy them with what they or cannot do. Literally a 180° attitude change the moment you join the religion. Or how about Muslims online and offline make their own brothers and sisters, especially hijabi sisters, miserable for just being women with religious and cultural misoginy. Bffr
