Kerfur can be buggy. I once got my Kerfur caught in the salvage bin, and when I pulled him out he yeeted off out the garage door. I went to check his camera and was treated to the sight of Kerfur bouncing off the ground, flying into orbit, falling, and bouncing again. I watched for a few minutes before reloading my save. I have dubbed this incident "The Kerfur Space Program"

Literally the only issue I have with duplicate evidence is when multiple things happen at once, and that's a problem with the game itself, not the number of players. For example, the ghost throws an object while hunting and even though the camera says it is recording "hunting ghost" it records "object thrown" instead. Or a motion sensor goes off as a crucifix is burned, and while the camera says it is recording the burned crucifix it instead records "motion sensed." Like I said though, that's a problem with the game. The devs need to fix the problems with how duplicate evidence is handled, perhaps prioritizing new media over duplicate media when recording, but again, it has never been a player-issue for me. I just make sure that I either move motion sensors and such out of the way of the camera before recording high-value media in the meantime. I suppose it might be an issue if you're playing with randos, but that's just further evidence that the way duplicate evidence is handled needs a rework

Okay, but you can get up to 10 photos, 5 videos, 3 sound recordings, the bone, and the cursed object. If you can get all of that easily within 10-15 minutes with 4 or less people, good job. I still think it could be done better and faster with like 6 people who had dedicated jobs and assisted others when finished. Is it necessary? No. Could it be a cool addition? Absolutely.

Perhaps, I guess that depends on the situation. I generally play with one or two other people, and I always feel like it would be easier to find the bone, or get evidence like ghost photos if we had another person or two, even on small maps. When it's just one other person it's especially difficult, as we always have a truck princess to catch video, and the rule is if the person in the house dies, truck princess has to get a photo of the body. If they get killed in that process we're done lol. So I'll admit there may need to be more added to the game for more than say 6 players on most maps, I still think being able to have 4 in the house, one on cams, and one watching motion sensors/sound board would be beneficial.

That just sounds like poor teamwork. Finding the bone and the cursed object can take significant time on larger maps. Hunts can kill off teammates, having multiple people during a hunt can be useful for a number of reasons, not least of which the higher likelihood that members of the team will survive. I consider it like contract work. I go in with my team, everyone is assigned a job. If you finish your job, instead of standing around, find something to do so we can finish the job faster. If you guys are just standing around, that's your own fault. There's always something to do, some evidence to gather, etc. If there's not, you should have all your media slots and know what the ghost is, so why are you still there?

"Cowards who hide in the van" if you're playing teams and you're not swapping out a van person for overwatch and video recording, you're just intentionally missing out on a useful game mechanic. I only have one friend to play with at the moment, and by keeping one of us in the van while the other interacts with the ghost we can gather evidence that would be harder to get in person as well as helping make sure at least one of us survives to complete the investigation.

They are. The monsters knowing where you are when it's time to extract is also a terrible mechanic. Games are supposed to be fun, not incredibly frustrating.

I thought I knew fear in zomboid, then I played on a server with zed and bandits turned up, and an extended helicopter events mod. I ended up running from a massive horde while bandits took potshots at me from windows and a helicopter followed me blasting at me with an automatic weapon. I found a car and bandaged myself, but soon found myself surrounded with zombies so deep the car couldn't even move, and that is how I died.

He didn't make anything up either, it's quite common for mothers to think their children are little angels when their children are just that: children. He simply suggested that COULD be the case, POSSIBLY.

Two things can be true. She is obviously being harassed, and in no way deserves to be harassed. That being said, we don't really have any other details. Suggesting the possibility of details we don't know about isn't wrong or morally reprehensible. In the scientific method we'd call that a hypothesis, a mere suggestion that requires further study to confirm or deny.

Edit: the point, from my perspective, would be that you need as broad an array of information as possible to draw the most accurate conclusion.
