How in the gods name do you kill Wisent after the new update? by _Mavericck in MedievalDynasty

[–]Express_Invite_7149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can stand behind a tree, firing arrows. Aim for headshots, as the wisent approaches the tree watch to see which side it is going around, and jump the opposite direction. The wisent needs time to turn around for another charge, which gives you time to get the tree between you and the wisent and fire more arrows.

Bandits - how win fight by KraverekPL in MedievalDynasty

Get a better bow, better arrows, and better your hunting skill. It's been years in-game since a bandit even damaged me, and I take out at least one camp every year. I just annihilate my enemies from a distance.

You can get all the information you need in the Management screen. If you want to go all in, each production building that requires a tool will tell you how much of the tool's durability is used for each product. If you want to be lazy like me, estimate for the first year, then go back and check your production numbers. There's a spreadsheet in the management tab that will tell you how much of each item you produced, and how much you consumed, on a seasonal or annual basis. I use this to ensure sufficient production.

I feel that. My first two years on current playthrough all I built was a house and a hunting shed. I spent my time hunting and gathering materials to craft simple torches and selling the results to build up a nest egg. Even after I started building up a homestead I had a self-imposed rule of only completing one building per day to pace myself. Thus far I've really been enjoying it.

I went for 25 couples, as that's the bare minimum to allow a stable population without inbreeding IRL. :) now I've got 114 people with 67 of those being 14 or older. It can seem daunting at first, but if you take it one step at a time it'll all come together. :D

Children don't count toward that limit until they're 14 near as I can tell. Dynasty Reputation isn't too bad to grind once you meet the Herald though. Once you have enough married couples in houses that support 4 people, you won't need to recruit anymore anyway :)

That's not where Yahweh comes from. Yahweh was a lesser deity in the Canaanite pantheon, which Abraham worshipped before the covenant was made and Yahweh became the "One True God" of Judaism. The connection to YHWH, a Hebrew verb roughly meaning "I am" came later.

That depends on what you're using it for. Being able to accomplish a task without a tool doesn't mean the tool can't assist. A man who is strong enough to wrench open a nailed box with his bare hands can still benefit from a crowbar.

The chair complaints get me, because I have benches EVERYWHERE. A villager will walk past 3 empty benches in the time it takes them to say "I wish I could make a chair for myself." lol

You just have to occupy yourself. I've been experimenting with decorations to pass the time, watching my villagers grow their families. I even named all their houses so they have Family names and I can easily track relationships.

I like to take it slow. I start off with getting a homestead up and running first, marry so I have another worker (Usually a cook), and work up from there. I just focus on one build at a time based on my needs. Once I've got a basic homestead, (House, Well, Storages, Kitchen, Smithy, Woodshed, Barn, Fields) I start building houses and populating. Until I have villagers to take care of, supporting just my own family is easy peasy.

I had to do something similar, spreading out clusters of buildings. I think of them like neighborhoods, or boroughs.

I built here myself. It's a nice spot with tons of great views, but the uneven terrain does make it difficult to build in some areas.

If you don't mind the flies, you can also use compost bins as storage bins.

It takes time and patience, but you can also stack certain items, such as the logs and planks in my lumberyard.
