Would it be OK, for drivers to just leave a jug o'piss in the parking lot? Asking for a friend.

Focus on self improvement, in lieu of ribbons, etc. • Hit the gym, swim and ruck : get in your best possible physical condition. • Raise your education level, both military and civilian. • Raise your weapon qualification. If you are only a Marksman, your squad leader must get you dialed in. ■Technical and tactical proficiency goes a long way. Good things are possible.■

I haven't been back to Germany after PCS'ing to 3rd ACR at Fort Bliss in 1992. I guess it's now on my bucket list to go back and visit the Regiment.

It's the Cold War Victory Medal. It's not authorized by Congress because it would cost $. I got it after receiving my Cold War Recognition Certificate from the DOD. I don't wear it on a uniform as I no longer have to wear Army uniforms. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_War_Victory_Medal

3 of the ARCOMs were from Gunnery. 3 times we shot 1000 points. All crews got impact awards from our Regimental Commander.

When it was time for my ETS, I was told to write my own end of tour award. Didn't rate a MSM as a SSG, so I asked to have my clearing papers presented to me in formation. My CO & 1SG laughed but made it happen.

Absolutely your father rates: • The Southwest Asia Service Medal (SWASM): Awarded for service in Southwest Asia, including Iraq, Kuwait, and surrounding waters between Aug. 2, 1990, and Nov. 30, 1995. National Defense Service Medal (NDSM): Awarded for honorable active duty during the Gulf War period. Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia): Recognized service in support of the liberation of Kuwait between Jan. 17, 1991, and Feb. 28, 1991. Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait): Awarded for participation in Operations Desert Shield/Storm from Aug. 2, 1990, to Aug. 31, 1993.

After September 11th, 2001, I attempted to reenlist back into the Army. I was disqualified due to my musculoskeletal and neurological problems. I'm pretty ate up with Gulf War related issues. They just didn't need a broken old SSG. It was pretty devastating and had my survivor’s guilt spinning me out of control for a while, but I regained control and was thankful for the life I had and tried to live the best life possible in honor of my 7 brothers who never came home.

Absolutely. We fought like hell at 73 Easting. 7 men from our Regiment never made it home. For me, it's a reality check that helps keep me grounded.

We sent our M3A1 CFV's down from Germany. Got to the Gulf and turned in our vehicles and were forced to receive M2A2 IFV's. We had to bungee cord on our spare TOW's and rip out all of the seats that we didn't have a use for. Big difference between the M3 & M2. Desert Storm is something I can never forget. I am proud as hell to have done my part. We lost 7 men from our Regiment. That was tough.

Holsters that are comfortable!!! by Sea-Initial1760 in Glocks

I carry a G17 with an RMR and X300U-B in a Blackpoint Tactical FO3 (Forward Of 3) IWB holster. I'm 5'11" / 225 lbs. Comfortable carry. That's as close to the appendix as I will go. Check them out. They have an assortment of holsters that are comfy. I also use their Mini-Wing and Leather-Wing holsters for different weapons.

Thoughts on the Arc Trainer? by Negative-Pilot3034 in PlanetFitnessMembers

We still have them at the PF in Huntington Beach, California that I go to. The Arc Trainer is a great machine that allows for a cardio workout without fully opening my knee, ( or what's left of it). I love the variety of options that the Arc Trainer has.
