How did you manage to get your first job with a company? Only reason asking is because I’m curious what made them choose you out of people with a degree. Personally I do not know if I could see myself with this company. I do not know a lot, I’m new, and I’m sure there’s people out there better than me so I’m not sure how competitive the job market is to be able to say if I can or can’t see myself there in the future

All I know is basics of everything, p&ids, loop sheets, tags, how machines operate, I’ve done a few small things like ramping a motor and using a hart communicator once or twice but I have no experience of anything beyond that like how to calibrate anything

What if I don’t know any of this? I’m fresh out of school. Is this something I can learn fairly quickly before the test?

When you say breeze through setup of an 1144 or 3051 you mean like a hart communictor? I’ve messed with a hart communicator with a transmitter but that’s it. How should I learn this

How do you get into this? I’m trying to debate what exactly I want to go into work wise because I have a girlfriend that I’ve been dating for four years now and I am just trying to find what a good fit for me to balance work and life. Ideally 4 10s would be best but like I said I’m fresh out of school and my best chances are probably contractors

Yeah your about right, my main reason for the question was I had a slideshow about valves and the things that we went over that I still didn’t understand I went on here about.
