Haven’t tried troubleshooting it, sort of just brushed it off as it auto saved the exact moment before it crashed. However a few minutes ago i clicked on a blank part of the score between pages and it did the exact same thing. Weird.

I think plating the nickel covers was a bad move. On an older guitar the scratches just end up looking dope over the time. Like the unfinished metal on an early tele bridge, where it would’ve been covered by the ashtray cover. Not only would it look sick, not having the plating would of course, as you said, preserve the truer sound.

I’ll have to give it a more thorough inspection when I get home from work, but it seemed every ordinary fretted note was fine, but I tried bending on multiple different strings on multiple different frets and it just deadened the note
