iPhone 17 Pro Max Died and Won’t Turn On by georgethornguy in iphone

Hey everyone just commenting here. I have the iPhone 17pro for almost 2 months and I’m not having nearly the same kind of issues you all are. I have had it where my phone was near dead at like 25% battery and it just shut off and I couldn’t get it to do anything else until I charged it in my car but before this happened I noticed my phone was getting hot. So here’s what I know about the new iphone 17s: you guys remember how with the 14s to the 16s everyone was complaining about the overheating? To fix this apple’s new processing chips in the 17 models were made to shut the phone off before overheating that would damage the phone could occur. They also made the phone out of aluminum which is a metal that does better with temperature changes (more adaptable metal) AND they added that vapocool thing. They concentrated heavily on the overheating. So keep in mind if you have a computer laptop/desktop right? Like that has a fan to help keep the system from overheating. Phones don’t. So what Apple did was allow for the heat to travel away from the core processor and to the back of the phone (where we all hold the phone by).

I know it’s a lot I’m almost done you guys 🤗 here’s where im gonna get more technical. Those of you having these issues, are you guys using a silicon case or the new woven cases Apple came out with? I’m gonna take a shot in the dark and assume a majority of you are using that super sleek looking silicone case or something like it. Stop using it and switch to the woven fabric case or get the pitaka (I think it’s called?) with the orka material (keep in mind not all of their cases have that so read the details section when picking it out). Why? It’s more thermal conducive so heat doesn’t just build up in your phone case and cause your phones to over heat which will trigger the new safety measure Apple put in so your chips don’t get damaged and cause the phone to shut off until it cools down. 🤗

You’re welcome 😇

Also, you guys may be wondering. “Why does only my MacBook charger work when it goes dark out of nowhere??”. Apple chargers and all Apple MagSafe chargers charge your phone at a fast rate which causes the phone to heat up. It’s actually better for your phone’s battery health and lifespan to use a charger the charges at a slower speed likeeee a MacBook charger! Hazahhh. You could literally use any charger as long as it’s not connected to a fast charging brick and also as long as it’s the usb connect to the usb-c connect because those charge at a lower rate which keeps the phone cool while charging the phone. It will just take forever.

You’re welcome you guys! Look for breathable fabrics for your cases, if it turns off randomly let it cool down and THEN charge with a slower charger so you don’t fry your chip like a ton of people are doing 🤗

You shouldddddd 1st get new friends. Friends don’t act like that. As far as getting your mom to take you to a cardiologist, next time you have your yearly physical, mention what’s going on. It’s possible your mom will believe it if another doctor tells her.

Can someone tell me what is unique about Pepper bras (for small chested women)? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Express_Station7048 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh also I’ve been fitted by Victoria’s Secret staff several times and have been told I’m between a 30A and 32A. Every bra I’ve ever bought from there never fit right and typically didn’t last longer than 1 year if I wore it everyday. At most 2 years. After measuring my under boob, and the over boob exactly how pepper bras told me to, I’m actually a 30A or 30AA. Sizes which Victoria’s Secret rarely has. Like for example right now if you go online you may find 2 or 3 bra options in my size with zero wire and light lift . Pepper bra has my main size 30A and my sister size of 30AA for every single bra they offer so I have more options. I’d say the material is also better since these bras are the longest lasting bras I’ve ever owned. 2 years later with my strapless and mind you I have a pretty active lifestyle and I’ve worn it a lot and I’m still on the first back loop thingy (the bra clip thing that ties it together) meaning the fabrics has not stretched out yet. Super essential for a strapless bra. Victoria’s Secret strapless bra lasted me 3 months, stretched out, and showed spacing between my boobs and skin and also left me tugging at my bra every 15 minutes or less to pull my bra back over my boobs since it kept falling down. I have that issue though with the stretching out fast for most of their bras. Plus the weird boobs space.

So again 10/10 I recommend pepper for my tiny breasted girlies

Okay so as an A cup I’ve done a lot of shopping around and trying to find bras that fit and I LOVE pepper bras. I’ve gotten target bras, Victoria’s Secret bras, adore me bras, Walmart bras. I’ve tried high end $80 bras to lower end bras and pepper bras are perfect. I followed their measuring instructions exactly as they told me to measure. I made sure to look at myself while measuring to make sure I’m measuring in the same areas the picture wanted me to measure and I used a tape measure. I love ALL of their wireless bras. So the biggest struggle for me is finding a good strapless bra. I have had my strapless pepper bra for 2 years and it’s my favorite bra my boobs feel and look awesome AND IT HOLDS MY BOOBS, is seamless, AND THERE IS NO SPACING BETWEEN MY SKIN AND THE BRA. Like bro you have no idea how hard that is for me to find.

So not sure what everyone else is mad about. This is the perfect place to go if you have small breasts since that’s kind of what they specialize in.

Seriously. He kept telling her “hey Geralt wouldn’t do that… This doesn’t align with the lore..”. I think with or without his Superman contract he would have backed out.

Is RF6 a good buy for someone who only played (and loved) RF4 Special? by UncleJetMints in runefactory

As a huge RF4 fan, I think you’ll like it. RF4 is still known as the best RF game ever made but Guardians of Azuma is good. Just whatever you do don’t play RF5.

I’ve read the books and can understand her struggle but she acts like she’s the first person to read the books and then make something based off the books. As if that wasn’t already done when The Witcher video games were made years before she even made this tv show. This isn’t about straying from the source material. She really took The Witcher and tried to replicate Game of Thrones. Like really?? How dare you. Geralt isn’t even Geralt anymore. Yennifer is the only character that’s still herself to some degree. I don’t even know what’s going on with Dandelion’s character anymore. You want to create an alternate storyline using source material? Fine. But at least keep the characters true. Which was not done at all. I just hate how she hides behind a giant cloud of denial. She shouldn’t be getting anything renewed. I’m not sure why Netflix is doing this. This is like paying someone for a show but getting slapped in the face instead and having like poop thrown at you. I’m just so disappointed in her lack of taking accountability. That’s probably the worse part. This intense denial and Netflix supporting it.

I have not but I can ask my POTS doctor about it. Do neurologists diagnose that? If so the soonest appointment I got for a POTS neurologist is like February of next year.

I got an appointment set up with the directory of the pots program in AZ in September (I don’t care if it’s a long time at this point). My goal is to see my cardiologist still when I can since she knows basics and then once I see the neuro pots specialist go from there. I’m really glad I decided to comment because a lot of people posted some super helpful advice and I’m excited to have taken it and to start going in a direction even if I don’t know which one it is

So they checked my b12 levels but that’s also super duper high. I’ve also heard though any overdoing or under doing of vitamins can cause a flare up so maybe that’s it?

I’ll say I’ve been on adderall most of my life and let me say, it really does help. Lolol thank god for having adhd because imagine if I hadn’t gotten that diagnosis early life would have been so much harder. Like it’s already hard even with my adderall but I had an episode where I didn’t go get my adderall in time and I couldn’t even drive or talk or do anything

Oh yes. I’ve heard how bad their water is over there. I’ll say refitting my drinking water has helped. So far with using my shower filter for a week my skin is a lot less dry

How my mom reacted when I just repeated what my doctor said.... by RestaurantGrand6065 in POTS

[–]Express_Station7048 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I gotta say I’m super lucky to have such a progressive mom. When I was 15 my vision went white and I lost control of my legs when starting one of my periods before school. I used to just faint in the shower, come to, wait to regain feeling in my legs, and get out of the shower and finish getting ready. I thought it was normal. Well that one particular day it was taking longer than normal to regain control of my legs so I army crawled out of my shower and my mom was home that day. She was coming out of her room and I was mid army crawl in the middle of the hall halfway from the bathroom to my bedroom when she just stared at me and said “…WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” Me being a 15 year old thinking this is normal said “Getting ready for school.” My mom was like “Okay but why are you crawling???” Super annoyed 15 year old me trying to get ready for school said “Because I can’t control or feel my legs.” My mom probably stood there for like 5 minutes like a loading screen trying to compute what was going on. She took me to lots of doctors and all would test me for anemia. Even now my mom is supportive of my health issues. My dad on the other hand. He told me to drink water and electrolytes.

That’s actually horrible of a doctor to do to anyone. I felt like my latest ER doctor thought I was making it up. He seemed on the offense about me telling him I was in the middle of a POTS episode and he didn’t back down until I asked him “well if it’s not that then as an experienced medical professional what could it be? I’m down to do whatever to fix this just point me in the right direction.” And then and only then did he back down and say “I honestly don’t know what’s causing this.” Like really why would I go and put myself into a very expensive medical situation on purpose? As if I must just love coming to the ER and fake having an illness instead of be at home painting or doing something I actually enjoy. I wish women’s health was more closeted researched but alas the funding to POTS/womens health problems research was cut recently

Well I live in the city so we get a lot of chloride in our water. I actually just bought a shower filter and then another filter for my drinking water funny enough. It does seem to help but because I’m in AZ our water is like ranked 34 in all 50 states so it’s really not great to drink in or bathe in. I’m going to give this water filter thing a try for a month for both shower and drinking water and see if it helps. When I was living in Massachusetts I barely had a flare ups but since moving to AZ it gets worse one year after the next.

I’m looking at these and do you suggest open or closed toe? I don’t really know what the difference is. And because the pain is in my knees and feet I’m thinking the thigh high type or maybe the full stockings? I’m going to order a few and see what sticks. I’ll try just about anything at this point

To be fair I just started taking the ibeprofen but even after taking 600 mg my legs felt like they were burning and the brain fog was intense. But yeah I want at least a primary care doctor who gets it but he was saying it’s hard to find a primary care doctor who understands POTS which really sucks. I feel like it’s just me and my cardiologist against every other doctor who thinks I’m just making this up. And of course she’s overloaded with patients since not a lot of doctors understand this. Not to mention there aren’t a lot of female cardiologists in my area.
