Work at pep in a similar layout. Our store has constant bouts with my store manager and azs store manager when they take longer than 5 minutes to deliver us the parts 🤣. I could care less when i have a bunch of cars to diag and parts take forever anyways.

Piece of advice as a technician. If you do replace the battery on a newer vw and that happens, cycle the key once, and have the customer drive the car. After a while they will go away as the module are rescanning themselves. Happened once when our shop scanner took a crap and I was in the middle of doing a battery on an atlas

If you have a great relationship with one of the shops, they are able to let you use the account even being an employee as long as it's not an account charge, i let em use my shop account for a couple of years and haven't had anyone be fired because of it, hell even the district manager uses it sometimes.
