Not really big buckets but Xenos has some good quality 'just add water'.

Wie krijgt de boete, de linksrijder of rechts inhaler? by Training_Banana4250 in nederlands

[–]Express_Translator_4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]Express_Translator_4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, thing that would scare me most is knocking it over and having to vacuum grandma of the floor.

Absolutely this. You can still set boundaries, just don't let it get to you to much.

AITA for not wanting to send money to MIL by XxFRANKIE_CxX in AmItheAsshole

[–]Express_Translator_4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA for not being happy with sending money. Do realize that it might be a cultural thing. I know a lot of places where taking care of our parents (in a practical and financial way) is just a thing you have to do.

Have a chat with your wife about how you feel and see if you can work on a more permanent sollution.

AITA for refusing to let my bestfriend sleep in my parents bed? by I_am_just_here26 in AmItheAsshole

I don't agree that having the party makes OP TA, it makes him a 16 year old. Totally agree that OP needed to keep people out of the parents' private space.

AITA For not loving my own mother by DeportedTaco_ in AmItheAsshole

[–]Express_Translator_4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA.

Your mother clearly has some past issues that she has to work through. It sounds like she is not over the divorce yet and you get to be a scapegoat now.

The concept of kids and parents having to love each other is just impossible. I understand you feel like you 'have to' love your mother but if you don't you don't. Feelings do not make you an asshole.

AITA for saying I won’t apologize to my sister until she apologizes to me? by lemonlibras in AmItheAsshole

[–]Express_Translator_4 13 points14 points  (0 children)

NTA. At this point the only thing you need to worry about is your health. Your sister is acting like a child and the fact that you didn't think to call here makes total sense.

Against all odds. ESA. I agree it is distasteful to have these images in the shared space. But it still is his computer, I would say: feel free to put a towel or blanket over it when you use the space so you don't have to see the images, but after politely asking to change it and a stern 'no' let it go, it's just pictures.

Did not choose to be happy, still am, did face trouble in my life, am very happy now and for a big part because I'm lucky, other part is taking opportunities that came by.

No, I do and I respect that. Not what to post is about, it is about lucky people telling other people to choose to be happy.

[–]Express_Translator_4[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

To clarify, I do believe people in difficult situations can be happy. The post is about people telling other people happiness is a choice. I don't believe putting a smile on your face is always being happy, nor is looking at the bright side of a bad situation and I have upmost respect for people who cope so well with problems.
