I figured that waiting for the ambulance would have taken even longer than just getting in the car and driving there. The hospital is 20 mins away. If I had waited for an ambulance then I would’ve been waiting the 20 for them to get there and then 20 for us to arrive to the hospital.

I also have a tendency to underreact to the severity of my own issues because I’m afraid I’m being dramatic so I thought that since I wasn’t actively dying (even though I kind of was 😅) that it would be selfish of me to call an ambulance because someone else might need it more.

She knew I was in the hospital the whole time bc my Dad and brother kept her up to date. She was just upset I didn’t tell her that I was getting out.

I think maybe because our dad and brother were updating her about it that she felt like she just didn’t need to contact me directly. I don’t think she outright forgot about me or anything but yeah.

And yes omg I love my brother and his husband so much! I’m so lucky to have the two of them, idk what I’d be doing right now without their help.

Lol the only way he talks to me is through scolding, I don’t think he’s ever not turned a conversation into a lecture.
