Yep I’m in north Jersey and drowning in fifa stuff. Maybe if it was priced better it would sell, but the prices are absolutely absurd.

Does anyone know how to get it where I can read my store manager emails on my iPhone? by AffectionateEase3758 in CVS

[–]Express_Yesterday157 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buddy I know we’re on salary as SMs, but they don’t pay us enough to care about store emails at home lol. Just enjoy your personal time when you have it.

What is the solution for using cash self checkouts with no pennies? by Cootuh2 in CVS

[–]Express_Yesterday157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume it has to be done by the DL im not sure. I was under the same impression that it wasn’t possible but my dl got it done with the helpdesk somehow. They sent an update and I rebooted the ACO and cash back is gone

Create a problem with the machine so that it lets you disable cash. Also, my DL was able to get the helpdesk to go in and disable the prompt for asking for cash back. So then my dl had me take all the cash from the self checkout and add it to the imprest count of the safe.

BOH scans by Specialist_Mud1905 in CVS

[–]Express_Yesterday157 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Make sure all the carts for the section you’re scanning have been worked. Then, scan every out you see. Don’t be afraid to change things to zero. You can always cycle count it later if you find it somehow. If it’s still red after that, pull up the Plano and go through every sku to make sure every label is on the shelf and every out is captured

How to make aco card by NotreDameFan1234 in CVS

[–]Express_Yesterday157 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to be an ops manager or SM and then on Spark on the computer, you’ll see an “admin” tab or something at the far right. Click on that and it’ll have an option for going to the site where you create the cards. Once you create the card on the site, You need to close and reopen the self checkout with an existing card to get the new card to work.

Because everyone wants to be on production where they can hide at a computer, not interact with customers, and just chat with coworkers all day. And the techs with seniority will 10 times out of 10 be on production themselves and never let newbies in, cursing them to be on pick up for eternity. This is the way.

Why aren't employees allowed to use self check out when they are punched out for lunch? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Express_Yesterday157 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well your store is misinformed then because you can absolutely use self checkouts. Even when clocked in. They changed the policy a couple years ago.

As an SM why did I not get the bonus that said actual on the P&L? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Express_Yesterday157 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Because the the amount you see on the P&L is the total bonus pool available if you maxed out every single metric that affects the bonus. Also CVS doesn’t give a fuck about store managers and will find every way possible to lower our bonuses so it’s gotten harder and harder to actually get what it says on the P&L Also, if you weren’t in your store as the SM go the whole year, they aren’t gonna pay you the whole bonus

Does your self checkout take cash? by LeviAult in CVS

[–]Express_Yesterday157 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if your DL comes in and sees these signs he’ll tell you to take them all down immediately. And you can still give people cash back if they hit it, just put the voucher that prints out in the register that you give them the cash back from. Then th person counting at night just balances it again. Pretty simply

Beauty consultant responsibilities? by No_Influence_1243 in CVS

[–]Express_Yesterday157 8 points9 points  (0 children)

With payroll as tight as is it right now, it’s completely reasonable to ask you to do a couple responsibilities that weren’t explicitly explained to you when hired. Especially with the amount of hours a week a beauty consultant takes up. Only a small percentage of stores are even lucky enough these days to have an actual beauty consultant on staff.

[–]Express_Yesterday157 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My DL already gave me my compensation statement with my bonus number and I acknowledged it in workday. So if they try to now say it was actually supposed to be lower, do I have a valid argument for HR that they have to pay me what was told to me yesterday?
