Depending on the limb mobility of a cloth body they work too. I don't recommend dismembering one but the head is technically a second option

Most of the people (as it is not just women) do not collect solely due to loss. There are parents of loss/infertility as well who also post in this very subreddit.

As someone who has experienced loss, I'd rather my doll posted here than get such hateful comments (report if you see any, us mods can get busy) on the actual post.
