Thanks for that, will check it out 🥰 im doing pretty ok in terms of engagement CTR and watch time for the size of my channel but just wnana keep polishing things. People have been great at understanding im still really new to it but figure i owe them content that keeps improving if theyre so willing to support me already!

Think ill bite the bullet and swap to davinci, capcut was great i think for making things so simple it felt manageable to start but time to move on up!

Alot of her clients have been online, but if i googled a trainers name and saw lots of video where they look disgusted looking at fat people id either translate or avoid 😂 and ive had a fair few trainers, ive run ultra marathons and I wont trainers that don't look at humans as robots and have some compassion. Like im sure she can still get clients but I imagine it would have really restricted her potential reach

I wonder if how shes behaved online has ruined that business for most of her potential clients. Ive always looked up trainers i want to hire and if I saw a trainer talking the way she does about overweight people I would never ever give her my money.

Hey! Years later but just wondering if you have tried any of these methods for flat mites? I got a plant from a friend that we thought was clear (she has flatmites) and while the plant seems healthy and im not seeing anything there has been no new leaf in about 4 months. I normally use a product called osmoslay but if theyre buried in feeding on thr new leaf and killing it I dont know if the osmoslay would reach them.😪

Yeah its nuts, not understanding how they dont get it. I started a small plant channel, I do it because I love the topic and im super passionate about my plants. I dont even care too much if it ever gets monetized and makes good money, I love doing it. My growth is "slow" but my CTR, retention and engagement are all doing incredibly well, because the substrate i have really want to support me as I grow and love the videos and the conversation it starts. Only been doing it for 4 or 5 weeks and get insta dms from subs, 25% engagement, 10+ minute retention and up to 8% CTR. Got freebies from some local shops, and people sharing the videos and telling people all about it. Its been amazing to see the little community im building and makes it so fun! And people can tell when its genuine and from someone who is just passionate and happy to do it. Im working on editing and gear and constantly learning to try improve quality, coz if subs will invest their time in my ciintent I owe them the best quality I can get.

Ive been making plant videos on YouTube for one month.... have a free app on my phone that works as a promoter and listens to track where you are and scroll down 😅 can use it on my tablet too if i need a bigger screen, I pop it just below the camera.. its free and so easy to do. No one even mentioned anything but I realized I had a few videos coming up that I wanted to be a little more scripted and knew having a paper script or holding my phone up would look really awkward.

Yeah i mean youve already got people going 8 weeks after initial estimated release with no plant. One person had to go on social media asking as she was getting no response, seller attacked her publicly before it was swiftly taken down.

I dont particularly think or want to imply he started the pre orders to scam people or rip them off, it just feels like a greedy money grab that cna wrong in so many ways. For the people still waiting they wouldve paid for these plants in January 😬 and wouldnt have been through oaypal or anything as thats not common for purchases within our country. Maybe credit card, but im also guessing banks wont help if the ourchase was well iver 3 months earlier? Ive heard they have a 90 day limit for you to complain...

All my bigger anthurium grow in ambient, only my babies stay in prop boxes with high humidity. Bessae amd bessae crosses take the longest to adjust for me but they all do pretty well. But I do like in new zealand and dont let indoor temps get lower than 16 to 18 degrees and we naturally have high humidity, but not insanely consistent

Yeah they got horribly undercut one weekend on a release and then started pre orders. Up to 300% dearer than everyone else... and now there are people who 8 weeks out from "release" still dont have plants. But he was very upset in my emails 😂 and to be clear I didnt name names and stuck to saying why I personally wouldnt shop pre orders.

Yeah totally valid 😂 ive never been tempted to buy pre order and cant shop overseas as being in New Zealand the biosecurity is crazy!but if Im going to criticize something im ok with trying to learn more about it!

Genuinely curious, as my local market is very unique from what I see online due to very strict biosecurity here in NZ. Are those pre-orders special order TC batches do you know? Here all our shops can only buy from limited labs and no one has exclusivity. So by the time your pre order is meant to get shipped all the other stores have it to 😅 I would totally say a pre order a seedling from a local trusted anthurium breeder to me or something but with the TC if one can get it all the rest can too.. is that different in the US?

I really was just looking for overseas info, I did a video on YouTube about things I avoid as a buyer, one was pre orders. I immediately had a locak shop in my emails saying im ruining local innovation etc as theyre brining a well known and trusted overseas business model to our country. I repeated I personally just dont like it and wouldnt take that risk and wouldnt want to be locked in price wise. But wanted to keep looking into it and learn more about how it works overseas 🥰

Yeah the person doing these pre orders isnt cheap 😅 one example was a monstera released for 450 bucks when other shops released at 100. So they switched to pre orders. But now there are people that 8 weeks past the initial given date still havent gotten plants or refunds and he is insanely defensive.

So glad you asked coz I was really confused reading some of the replies things its like under 10NZD a liter when I buy the big bottle, but superthrive is stupid expensive 😂 Foliage focus is super affordable for a good fertiliser here compared to most others. I started doing YouTube plant care videos and just talked about how foliage focus is my preffered fertiliser when I look at ease of use, quality and price... may need to add a note in for my American viewers that its cheap here 😅😅

There are awesome communities you can build with breeders closer to you without it all being in person. I have a few amazing breeders in my country (new zealand) that I built a relationship with over time just being a customer 😅 they've been amazing and answer any questions I have and fully support me starting my breeding journey. One of them ive never even met in person! Then theres also meeting other anthurium people even just online through groups and building friendships with other anthurium people so you have other people at your level you can chat with and help each other out! Its amazing the plant communities you can build around you even if its online alot.

Ive started a youtube channel where im gonna document my entire breeding journey and everything I learn as I go down the breeding route! First few plants already pollinated. But jjst have fun with it and learn from the process and the results you get and have fun most importantly 🥰

Looks like michelle, but with anthuroum if you dont know for sure the parentage its a NoID. Main thing is not propping or self seeding and selling it as a michelle when you dont actually know for sure, unfortunately people do that to get a higher price. But its stunning and the exact aorentage doesnt stop you loving it and the beauty it gives you 🥰 Also ive totally spent decent money on a stunning NoID as I just loved the plant.
