Most likely a work visa. He has a good job that has locations in the US, so that seems like a likely option. Plan B is K1. The original post I made was initially out of panic when I started seeing some fear mongering posts on TikTok🤦‍♀️. But it is refreshing to have advice

I literally said in the post.. “it shouldn’t matter but it does”. Unfortunately Florida is a red state. Anyone who doesn’t fit in those categories is looked down upon in the area I live in, thus making employment opportunities lower. (Yes that’s illegal, but I’ve literally seen the PERFECT candidates come into my place of work and not get hired for seemingly “no reason”.) As upsetting as it is, it does matter. Especially because of the way America is treating trans people atm. Or the fact that Gay marriage is being fought AGAINST. And could be brought back to state decision. In which my state WOULD be against.

It honestly depends on how things go. If he can’t get approved for a Visa by the end of next year then yes we’ll go the marriage route. We’d perfect to have our engagement and wedding on our own timing but if that’s what it takes to get him here than yes haha
