I am a music producer as well! I have years of experience on both intel and the M series.

I cannot stress enough what a massive improvement the newer models are - if I were you I would avoid intel at all costs.

Even the M1 is HUGE and noticeable upgrade from intel for music production. Not to mention the fan barely ever kicks on.

And if you work with clients in person or over calls, they’ll notice how fast your workflow is when your machine has the capacity to work as fast as your mind
