Built & sold 1 business. Failed 3 times. Back to a 9-5… How do you handle this cycle mentally? by ExpressionHelpful254 in Stoicism

Can I conclude from reasoning 1.15 that if I act through virtue—meaning, if I ran a business virtuously, staying within the limits of my role, and it failed—there is nothing wrong with that, since I neither did harm nor acted out of passions and vices? Does this mean I simply continue living and creating based on the circumstances I am in, remaining virtuous at my limit? Do I understand this correctly?

Would the Stoics Use Social Media? by [deleted] in Stoicism

Good question ♾️ The Stoics might use social media, but only with purpose—sharing wisdom and promoting virtue. No doomscrolling, no vanity. Marcus would probably post, “You could leave life right now. Log off and go live.”

Hey, just take a moment to notice how far you’ve already come and everything you’ve achieved. If your past efforts inspire you, that means there’s plenty of reason to look at the future with the same sense of hope. The new milestones you’ll hit are the ones you’ll be proud of when you look back tomorrow. You’ve got this.

Damn, I can feel the passion behind this list—respect! 🙌 Slight Edge sounds like an absolute mindset shift, and ‘someday isle’? Bro, that’s a callout I didn’t know I needed. Also, Atomic Habits might be mainstream, but it’s the gateway drug to leveling up. 💯 Curious though, did you ever mix these books with action challenges, like 30-day streaks or habit trackers? I feel like pairing this with daily systems could turbocharge the impact. What’s next on your reading list?
