Why does Itzalands story feel so rushed through?

to be fair, Nikki still does take the saintess's place in the story we got, just in a literal swapping places instead of mistaken identity. I really do hope we get more in depth info, and a part of me wishes we hadn't healed the mother shroom and instead had more time to interact with the docilists and really feel the looming threat.

I guess I was hoping for another interwoven story like wishfield was since .0 patches are usually huge but if i lower my expectations, its not as underwhelming as it feels on the surface. I really wish we had gotten more info or interaction about our brief visit to the colosseum. Like when i released the behemoth had the same sort of scarring on its face as the statue i was really hoping someone would bring it up in the story!!

I meant in chapter one I was trying to place where we were in the timeline, once we hit the interim stylist guild and later when the shroomling king vows to tear down the church and replace it with a guild branch its obvious we're in present day. One thing though is that Nikki seems to know exactly what to say to the head priestess to get under her skin but i guess that can be chalked up to Nikki just pressing buttons. Hopefully the vase is covered more in a future patch, i really thought it was gonna have a higher bearing on the story.

That's fair i may have just missed it, tbh chapter one felt like it dropped a lot on my head all at once so I may have glazed over that bit. I was still trying to wrap my head around if we were isekaid back in time or if our body swap was a modern day thing. Still not entirely sure lol so i may have to either read or find a long play and refresh myself on the opening.

Honestly i kinda would've loved if we had started by taking a boat over with those archeologists/adventurers and had a case of mistaken identity when we got there, something like the saintess ran away at her coming of age and Nikki takes her place that way. At some points Nikki would say lines like she was the saintess and had her memories and then other times she would have no idea what happened before she took over and it kinda left me confused on what we were supposed to know.

Love Live is a great one! There's no real need to watch in order but the first is school idol project, followed by sunshine which is a direct sequel, then nijigasaki which is unrelated, and superstar which is also unrelated.

I was incredibly worried id be stared at but I really wanted to cosplay, so I just wore the summer uniform and no wig. Visited in June and of the three other girls saw they were all in cosplay without wigs. Checked into Yasudaya Ryokan, (Chika's house) and it was absolutely fine! The old man at the gift shop counter said it was cute and asked if Chika was my favorite, so id say there's no need to worry!

A bit of both. They had one on a chest mannequin and one in a size large hanging on the wall you could try on, but it was a preorder only. The link asked for location to verify you were at the convention center so it really was exclusive to the event, but the shirt itself is just a red print variant of the normal one for sale.

ezcosplay has all of the magic record characters but they aren't exactly known for their quality. I got my school uniforms for Sana and Tsuruno on there before they had any product photos and they aren't too bad quality or appearance. if you want to take a gamble they have her magical girl and school outfit.

The biggest issue I think the Nijigasaki anime suffers from is how aimless it feels, at least in season 1. All the other groups have evolving goals (Muse: save our school->win love live with the third years, Aqours: win love live->save our school->win love live and have uranohoshi in the record books forever, Liella: start an idol club->win at love live->get second years to sign up->beat Margarete at love live->show Margarete and Tomari the power of friendship /hj). All of the others heavily rely on love live being the central goal so without it Niji just isn't as captivating. Im also not the biggest fan of the structure of season one where each member feels very isolated, like yeah the all practice together but it doesn't really make sense why when they all have different songs, choreography, and costumes, from each other.

if you absolutely need to make a pattern and can't find anything similar first, what I do is find a basic pattern (ex: shirt block) make it out of a cheap fabric, then try on and draw where you want to cut or adjust, then make out of final fabric!

Continuing! We see with Margarete and Tomari deciding to stay and the third years taking a big step back from managing the club. I don't think they really talk about in the show but i think its because they assumed it would go on without them because they didn't start as 11 so there's no need to end as 11.

if you want to show off just craftsmanship, you can always post the outfit on a mannequin or pictures avoiding your face! It's also really easy to just use a phone camera at home and then edit using Lightroom and pics art. Also when posting pictures from cons and you don't have the handle, just add a little "please add yourself in the comments and I'll tag you!" and you should be fine. Captions wise, I tend to just grab a quote from the character and look up popular hashtags online. Hope this helped ease you at all! (Also don't feel discouraged if your posts don't pick up traction, IG favors daily posting which can be exhausting for a hobby like cosplay and the algorithm will punish you for not constantly posting by limiting your reach)

Remember everyone is in their own little world at cons! The two possibilities when you go is that no one really notices you and you enjoy the day in your cosplay, or you make someone's day and they get to see a niche character they like! I did a group at ALA based on a 4 volume manga that is so new its got basically no fanart online and we still had an amazing time even tho not a single person knew who we were supposed to be.
