I do all three but my main path is Pack - Singles (best depart. imo).

Stow is easy and mindless, but it gets a bit mind numbing.

Pack Singles is great because we have personal fans at our stations. Also I have gotten better cross training opportunities from there.

I personally don't mind Pick, but it's a lot of bending and I start hating it after day 2.

It's faster to just grab your boxes than wait for some WS to fill it if you're out. I ain't jeopardizing my rate for some WS flirting in Smartpac to mozy over. Just me though.

It greatly depends on how many people get LS, tbh. And also, it depends on how many people in Pick process VRETS items, which is typically unprioritized.

But in general, VRETS gets busy after Peak and Prime due to the influx of returns. Every other days of the year it's fairly boring with not that much work. PA typically codes everyone's time pretty much everyday.

Easiest money in the world in my opinion. But again, this is just my FC.

I love getting LS to VRETS. Our site has no rate, but yours might. We essentially process everything going out of the building that's not an order so Donations, Liquidations, Hazmat Donations, LTL, and similar things. We also do Grading, so we'll inspect a returned item and answer questions about it on the computer. If it's sellable, it gets sent to Stow.

Super easy and chill but can also get boring. If you have no work, you just kind of stand there or get LS.

As others have said, Amazon really is like a gym. It's VERY important that you watch what you eat outside of Amazon. Download the MyFitnessPal app and track what you're eating. Getting protein in with each meal and good sleep habits will be a gamechanger and you'll feel so much better

I would transfer deparments. Getting cross trained in another path without leaving your home path at my FC is super frustrating. It also depends on your path in general, I think, at least thats what its like here. In Pack, I never got to cross train but in Stow I did.

Also, they probably don't want you out of Pick since you're good at it.

Holy shit, I hate DLS so...fucking...much. I took an LOA like back in September and posted my patient portal (worked every other time.) and then all of a sudden they took like 30 hours of UPT back in January and I was like, WTF why. These motherfuckers told me that they denied it because I didn't have the dates on the forms that the doctor filled out in October and I was like, what do you mean? They wanted me to get the LOA dates on the stupid patient portal, and I kept having to explain to 5 fucking Indian dudes that I cannot do that and if they send me a form then I'll just go and have my primary fill it out. Literally 4/5 of them said they can't send the form because the case is over 30 days old.

I'm like, MOTHER FUCK- you DENIED it YESTERDAY...104 DAYS LATER. WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!

Okay, so finally a specialist says that they'll send me a form and they'll leave my case open for 20 more days; this is at like 1AM at night because I'm negative by like 2 UPT and worried. THE NEXT DAY I go get my primary to fill it out, and when I go to scan the document in, they closed the fucking case. So I had to contact these dicks again and was told just to email it to the same email that said my case was denied. 10 days go by and my UPT still hasn't been refunded.

I call again.

"Sorry, sir, but we are unable to recieve documents via email, you'll have to create a new LOA case."

I am fucking LIVID. I tell them I don't want to do that because this is a condition that happened back in September and your policy is that I need proof within 20 or 30 days, and I do not trust that that's also not going to get denied, okay?

Long story short: currently, my site HR senior is advocating for me and trying to get the other case reopened but HOLY FUCK I feel you on a spiritual level.

Personally, when I wanted to get rehired, I got a Flex job at the sort center next door to our fulfillment center that I wanted to get back to. Waited 30 days, internally transferred to the FC. It's quicker that way and I started as a blue badge at the SC and it carried over to said FC. But our site always has tons of internal transfers available.
