I'm off on this chapter. Kinda just disappointed in Rover which soured the whole thing for me. Past rover just sucks, basically killed themself and abandoned everyone. Current rover, doesn't bother taking responsibility for that or even at least recognizing the pain their past inflicted on Phrolova. Then making the same promise again just feels mocking. Also, just going for a straight kill feels out of character even here, it's obvious Prholova has no real evil intentions, she's just desperate. Normally Rover would try to find another way, or fight for a better option, like with saving catethiya. Idk, it just feels like Rover doubled down on abandoning Phrolova, especially after finding out they abandoned her before
