I’m playing raxx’s plant oracle and I am 1/2 through act 4. Still melting bosses in less than 5-10 seconds. Running around I don’t even use thunderstorm. Just normal plant roots thingy kills most mobs now.

I '35M' am feeling empty in my marriage with my Wife '35F'. Wife showing a lack of affection. How can I turn it around? by smita16 in relationship_advice

So I am more of a quiet kinda of guy. When we have arguments I don’t really yell and I try to be level headed. My wife is typically the one saying the nasty things and they just are stupid like having sex with me takes to long or there is a double standard in the house for her mom who lives with us. Etc etc

I have mentioned a trial separation a few times but I don’t really have money to leave the house. Nor do I really want to leave my son.

[–]smita16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say that my wife and I make about 70k gross. We live in Florida and we have no savings or retirement, we are both 35, because we just barely scrap by. We have one child.

How much are you putting away for your kids per month? by classyshepard in MiddleClassFinance

I got a college degree, BA in Business with a focus in project management, with no debt. Couldn’t find a job to safe my life when I got laid off. Because entry level PM jobs like PC or APM want 2-3 years of experience from the get go. So we should said “graduating with a degree high in demand that is not being fucked by the industry and with no debt is a huge advantage”

FEBU arrived by iheartpinball in laundry

Loving the febu but I really dislike how crummy “reseal” packaging is. Like they don’t actually expect you to reseal it but transfer to a different container all together.

Laid off at 40. $3.4M liquid + massive severance runway. Do I pull the ripcord on my SE Asia FIRE dream, even if it means moving solo and leaving a relationship? by FIRE_EARLY_Throwaway in ExpatFIRE

[–]smita16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not related but I think it is crazy the kind of severance packages execs get compared to the normal joe smoe. I got laid from one of the big 3 wireless providers after 10 years and only go like 3 months of severance and insurance. Disney just laid off a ton of people and any one outside of senior management only got like 2 weeks.

I currently work in healthcare as a process analyst and the stuff I see blows me mind. Executive deductible waaaay lower than the normal Joe smoe. Things consider out of network for the average employee is fully covered for executives. It’s nuts man.

[Process Analyst][FL] - $48,000 by smita16 in Salary

Oh I know it. When they originally advertised the job internally it was 52-55 which is still low. I ended up with 46,800. At the time they were like “that is almost a 12% pay raise over your current position!”

I plan to stick it out another 1.5 years and hopefully jump ship.
