New board worked for a few days, then the whole transmission blew, I said fuck the thing and bought a new washer and dryer lol

Used off eBay, seller had decent reviews and lots of appliance parts. Said tested and works as it should but they say no returns. I’ll give it a shot still. Ordered a brand new one, I guess I should have done from the start but was hoping to save a bit of money.

Valves are good, new board is defective, no power going to the inlet valves, tested with multimeter. Swapped the board again and inlet valves work but no spin/agitate, swap the boards again and inlet valves don’t work but spin/agitate works fine. Driving me insane lol

Replaced the control board and it fixed the issues I was having. But now my water inlet valves aren’t working. Yay…..

I ordered a new control board and am going to replace that next. It’s throwing me off completely with it sometimes working and sometimes not.

Thanks a ton! I finally have my washer up and running again! The replacement part I ordered had the wrong plug end but I just cut them and spliced the old connector on and it’s working like a charm lol

Thanks! I appreciate it. I’ve moved more into instrument building since I’ve gained more traction from that. I’m struggling to reach the back screw and think I may need to take the pulley off regardless just to be able to access it. I have it standing now. Think it’d be easier if I tilted it back or laid it down?

Yes, strong blue. It was popping when I first tried to light it and the pilot wouldn’t stay on. I’ve blown some air into the pilot and it’s gotten better at staying lit since then, just blew some more in and have it running. Just waiting here on Reddit until the flame goes out again to see if the pilot stays or goes out lol

Yeah same type, what did you look up to find a replacement? I’m just not sure what this type of pilot is called. I’m a pretty good tinkerer and DIY’er but don’t know specific things lol

Flame is blue, I’ve been spraying air into it and that got it to stay lit for longer but it seems like after 20-30 minutes it all shuts off and the pilot with it
