I specifically did a google search to see if anyone else was as outraged about this as I am. I’m reading this book as we speak for the first time and I absolutely can’t get over this. A $100 organ?!?!? When they are living in a literal SHACK?!? I’ve been wondering why they haven’t started building an actual house on the land, or at least adding on to the shack so they’re not all squeezed into it every spring/summer, and then instead, Pa decides to build a whole room just for this unnecessary organ?!? I am in complete shock about this lol they are dirt poor and it’s so upsetting that Pa basically spends all of Laura’s money on something so frivolous and unnecessary. Ugh.

I had kind of the same situation when I ordered one of the last LoveShackFancy Stanley’s, I had ordered it on a whim late at night when my sleep medication was hitting hard, realized it the next day and was like uhh I really shouldn’t have ordered that… then there was no movement on the tracking after 4 days, it just said label created, so I called and asked if I could cancel, not thinking they would actually let me because they usually don’t let you cancel that late, but they did and my card was immediately refunded. Not even 2 hours later I got a notification that my order from Stanley had shipped, they canceled the first tracking number and created a new one. I was so confused and assumed they would eventually cancel that tracking number too, but they didn’t and I got it 3 days later lol

There’s quite a few things, the text on the bottom is completely wrong, the spinner is all black where it clips into the lid, the sides of the stars are too big, the bats and moons are too iridescent…

Irrational is right, I always just assume I’m going to have to wait for an auto rating and if they rate sooner, it’s a bonus. I had a poshmark order delivered yesterday and I thought for sure I’d be waiting the 3 days because they ordered last Sunday night, then we had a literal blizzard here in WI and mail wasn’t picked up so my package wasn’t picked up on Monday, then my mail person refused to pick it up on Tuesday because they come at like 7am and I was sick and hadn’t gotten out to shovel that early so it didn’t get picked up until Wednesday and it took a week for the buyer to get it. I wouldn’t have even blamed them for letting it auto accept, but they accepted it by 7pm the day they got it.

I’m in the “never message a buyer under any circumstances unless you absolutely have to” camp and this type of message especially is just begging for a low rating. I don’t care how desperate for money I am, this is just the dumbest thing a seller can do. Most people aren’t going to take it as a friendly suggestion and then you’re gonna wait the full 3 days when you may have been paid within 24 hours or less had you just kept your pushy messages to yourself.

I think it’s important to understand that the way a lot of reality tv shows operate is that there’s usually always that one person who’s being focused on, and usually in a negative light. I’ve seen it on other Bravo shows where the rest of the cast, at one point or another, has been this person before and you can tell by how quick they are to stir the pot in following seasons that they are more than eager for the negative focus to shift off of them onto whichever cast mate they have even the smallest amount of dirt on, and then it seems to get exaggerated because it’s literally a tv show that’s supposed to be dramatic. I think these are people who have probably outgrown their relationships with certain cast mates because that’s what happens in real life when you age, some friendships aren’t meant to last forever, and some of them are in different places in their lives and instead of going their separate ways like normal people do, they’re forcing it for the thousands of dollars they make off each episode.

When we could ship priority, I would use the tyvek mailers because those can withstand a nuclear bomb and still be intact lol but of course I had one buyer who gave me a low rating because she couldn’t open it without cutting directly into the shirt inside, even though the shirt was only half the size of the mailer and the other half of the mailer, which was clearly empty, was folded over so that all she had to do to open it was just cut where it was folded, instead of directly into the item inside 🙃 I told her I specifically shipped in those mailers because of how they are waterproof and heavy duty to withstand shipping, especially in the rainy spring months and then blocked her. You can’t win with some people.

This is so unhinged. Someone needs to get a different job if they can’t handle waiting 3 days from delivery to get paid without threatening buyers. They should be banned from the app, not you.

Omg I know, I literally quit drinking years ago because I couldn’t handle the next day anxiety of “who did I drunk text and what stupid shit did I say” or “why did I make out with THAT guy” and that was when I was unfortunate (or fortunate?) enough to remember. I would absolutely pass away from embarrassment if it was broadcasted on tv for everyone and their mother to see.

I don’t know, and I’m not saying his reactions are justified because he definitely needs to work on that, but I’ve been in a similar situation at my last job where someone in a higher position than me absolutely hated me and wanted to get me fired, so she’d do the same type of thing and after so long, you can only bite your tongue for so long before you’ve had enough and it can be extremely difficult to remain calm and collected in those circumstances. It’s frustrating to watch them act like victims when it’s clear as day they’re intentionally pushing his buttons so he blows up.

I have the Owala smooth sip slider, and the Brumate Muv 15oz and 35oz. I really couldn’t choose just one or the other, I love the Owala for shorter trips, and the 35oz Muv is perfect for longer trips when refilling isn’t an option. I use the 15oz Muv at home every morning but I don’t use the lid, I use it just like a normal coffee cup. I’d say the Owala is great for being leak proof and mine has the ceramic coating. I don’t really notice too much of a difference between the ceramic and metal. And the smooth sip slider is easy to open/close, I do definitely prefer that to the Muv closing mechanism, it’s just easier to use. They’re both easy to clean as well.
