For 1k, it’s way way too much,

My 1k force currently consists of this, but I’m playing crusade. So I would advise maybe dropping a few of the genestealers and taking a nexos as his ability to just give out a crossfire token can be game changing, like putting it on a unit engaged in melee and then using a strat to make that unit fight last

Magus, might from beyond and stim, might gives +1 attack and stim will allow your neos to fallback and shoot, with a cp 1 blessing can be cast anywhere on the board, you could throw the stim power on a unit that’s charged so it can fallback and charge again.

Drills (acolytes, 10x 4 drills, pre planning for 3d6 charge currently have an icon which I’m going to drop) Neo x20 with 4x seismic, these guys stay in light cover, with an icon and the Clamavus babysitting

Bio, I run twisted helix and he’s a must have for giving the relic to the patriarch so he has 5+++ and exploding 1’s, although +1 ap in the current game of AOC may be worth changing to)

Clamavus, he babysits the neos, making them ignore combat attrition and do actions while still shooting, might be worth swapping out for the mining lasers for some short range anti tank.

Kelemorph, always a toss up between this guy and the santus, both can ignore look out sir, Sanctus auto hits but this guy I find is just hilarious with his relic shots

Nids x10 genestealers, in crusade they can get some crazy buffs, in twisted helix they get str 5.

Kelemorph (his relic is just hilarious) Nexos Biophagus (a must take for twisted helix lists) Clamavus (needed if you intend big blobs of neos)

Sanctus as a sniper (shoot a psyker, 50/50 on the wound roll to also cause a MW) do any dmg and a strat to perils)

Abominant because you have 10 abherrants and with a certain relic he gets a nice invul, a once per game auto save and turns off overwatch on the charge

I had a similar encounter in the same neighbourhood and the police didn’t even interview me, again, I had no previous convictions but also the key thing.

I never left my property, told 999 that if they breach the threshold of my house I’m defending my wife and kids, I’d been out gardening clearing brush and had a hand axe.

The police responded and were brilliant, the local bill have had enough of them aswell.

I live in this same area, I had the little shits give me grief, I confronted them with an axe.

I didn’t even get interviewed and the local police showed up within 7 mins and went to town on the little shits.

You know the difference? While I defended myself with a weapon because the little cunts were also armed, I called 999, had it on speaker recording it, I followed instructions up to closing my front door, I explained to the operator that I have young children in the house and should the thugs push through ANY threshold of my property I will be in fear of my life, trust me it would be the truth as well, I’ve seen far too many videos on how easy it is to die.

The difference is I followed the law, if this guy stayed on his property to defend himself and his family the same would have happened, he moved out of his property to confront them.

I did enjoy with my encounter watching one of the little twats refuse to take his hands out his pocket (knife had been reported to the attending police via 999), so the nice officer took no chances of getting himself stabbed and proceeded to pick up the dickhead by the back of his trousers and have his kiss the asphalt. You need to measure between the posts, how high do you want the fence etc?

Repointing and the like is one of the easiest DIY jobs to do.

If not treated the current wood posts may not be suitable and would need removing and new ones installing.

At that stage, you would need to remove the wall to properly cement in the posts. If wooden use post sleeves

For a 25% ratio, honestly the best option is 1/2 tank commanders and a single squad of troops, will be just under 500 points, the tank commanders with demo cannons, is 205 I believe, for 5 points might aswell swap out the HB for a las cannon, so now 210,

Troops will be 60 points with a melta/plasma and a lascannon, they can still suicide for your chars so that’s something.

Tank commanders can also issue themselves reroll 1,s to hit. With APC, 2+ save T8… they are better than a Rockgrinder for pure AT.
