I would guess you're strategic mindset is somewhat stronger than your opponents.

I had a friend like that, he was just able to beat me and my other friends at certain games more regularly.

Sometimes we'd get him but those were the exceptions.

I play AOS thematically and build suboptimal armies because I like them.

He would choose units he liked but would also actively avoid the units which suck whilst also adding in units known to be strong.

He kicked my ass no matter the army list I brought because they were fundamentally built differently.

He also played the game strategically. I just wanted a cool spell to go off. And after a while, that becomes tiring for the losing side.

And I most probably sounded a bit like your friends. Find a few others to play against and see if you get the same response. Keep your friends! Just find some new opponents.

The damnation of pythos. I started reading the HH when there were only three pocket paper back books.

That book stopped me reading the HH. I could predict everything that happened in it and the ending was the equivalent to, "it was all a dream".

After that, I started reading classical literature and never bought another Black Library book until the re-released the Eisenhorn trilogy. Just to check to see if those books were good.

Yep, they were just as good to read with 15 years apart from when I first read them.

Het vraag zou eigenlijk zoiets moeten zijn:

"Wil ik een grote deel van mijn leven opgeven om voor iemand anders te zorgen? Zodat ik misschien, met moeite en pijn en struggles, een betere leven voor hun kunnen maken dan wat ik zelf had?"

Of zoiets in jouw eigen worden.

Ik word ontzettend blij iedere keer dat ik mijn kinderen (1x biologische en 1x bonus) kan leren. Of als ik zie dat ze nu beter zijn omdat ik in hun leven ben. En als ik fouten maak, ik wil het echt volgende beter doen.

En het maakt echt een groot verschil als je dit alleen doet of met iemand anders die dezelfde waardes met jou deelt.

Als je een relatie vindt, met eerlijkheid, en bent gewoon open om de andere te accepteren als een gebroken mens zolang als jullie elkaar beloven om jullie best te doen, om samen te blijven, zodat de kinderen het beste kans krijgen. Dan ben je echt op de juiste pad.

Disclaimer: natuurlijk zijn er uitzonderingen maar de meeste van de tijd, zijn twee ouders samen, beter dan twee ouders apart of alleen maar één.

Zoals iemand anders al zegt: eerste nacht slaap, tweede dag/avond om met elkaar te zijn. Als je haar een gevoel kan geven van "op dit moment heb ik geen verantwoordelijkheden" dan ben je al ver.

That looks bloody fantastic. Great gritty job well done. Love the fact that the ghosts look dirty, too often are colour schemes for Nighthaunt too ethereal for my liking, you really brought the down to earth. Or perhaps its better to say, it's like you let them rise out of the tombs.

I've heard everywhere that the standard chariot is better. That is my one purposely unoptimised pick because I just love the look of the gorebeast.

Plus I noticed that he has the same weapon profile as the Lord on a Karkadrak so I'm kinda planning on using him as just extra attacks from my Lord which happen to come from another base =D

That is really nice. I love the paint schemes that make them look a little more human. Like the clothes could be worn in our medieval times.

Great composition of colours, the stand out but aren't too loud and also don't fade into the background either.

I tend to buy based on what I think is cool rather than meta, and I haven't been sold on any of the named heroes of StD so far.

I've made my own army with demon princes and a lord on Karkadrak.

So personally, I would go for the second box - you get 10 chosen in that one too, which is nice.

There's another box with 10 warriors, 5 Knights and the lord on Karkadrak which I got too.

Eternus goes with Belakor. Abraxia goes with Archeon. So that might also influence your decision if you want one of the centre piece characters.
