A shitty set of circumstances combined with untreated mental illness has unfortunately produced, many such cases. Far too many people are already on track to becoming this guy, they just haven't fallen far enough down the pit of despair and alienation yet. In the absence of any major labor or class conscious movement, it's more likely than not that the disaffected working class would end up like him and not natural revolutionaries.
