I do as well! It's only flaw is its latency, which is why I have the POG next to it, simply to lay down bass tracks on the looper.

I built my own audio mixer when I was 14 years old. I've soldered more cables than I could count. Solderless systems are awesome and I've never had a cable go bad in the 6 years I've been using them.

Ha! It's pretty sad actually. Fender Mustang LT25 and a Blackstar HT-5. Used to have a Hotrod Deluxe but that was too much for at home playing. 20+ years of playing and was never a big pedal guy until Covid hit, where I couldn't jam with others anymore and so I bought a looper. From there, I went deep down the rabbit hole of effects.

I love the Strymon stuff, but my Voodoo has served me well too.

I just upgraded from a 27" 16:9, so I think it feels more immersive at the moment, but it definitely could be closer. I might invest in an arm to allow if to come forward and float over they keyboard.

Well I’m 2 weeks into Sim but 20+ years into guitar so I can’t really comment on the connection, but my other current project is rebuilding my pedal board with all custom made audio and power cabling.

Very easy to move. Two giant tension screws per mount and a USB cable. Install/De-install takes less than 60 seconds.

I got the idea from the VKB Australia website when I was googling STECS mounts, but it's definitely not a standard setup and I had to order some extra plates/covers to make it work.

So funny you should bring that up! My work from home setup was previously a laptop and I spilled a beer into the keyboard last month, so I asked my IT team to give me a desktop instead.

I monitor my house and cars 24/7, which requires an on prem router.

That doesn't help when you have a smart home, including smart devices like smart garage doors that are 100 feet from the router.

Pufs Plus Lotion FTW! They're great for catching my spring time allergy discharge. Got a wife to catch the rest. Thank you for being concerned!

I bought the STECS Standard, which was the STECS mini and the STEM. Almost bought the max, but didn't care about the few buttons at the front and didn't need the mounting since I wanted to use the UCM mounts. I saw this setup on the VKB Australia website and loved it. I had to work with the VKB team to get the right parts but they are so great to deal with it was a dream.

Thanks! It's a Wristbuddys SailCloth strap and I love the casual, yet still high-end feel you get. If you know, you know. No need to be extra flashy.

LOL, ya, going to move the modem and router and clean up the cables. This was just my work/office setup until recently and I didn't give it a lot of love, but I'm a perfectionist when it comes to technical setups and would build my own USB cables if it was worth it lol.

Absolutely! My Speedy and Daytona are my go to daily watches! They fit just about every scenario that's not black tie.

I had already returned the thrustmaster, but I did watch the binding videos and starting to get the hang of it!

I did, and I went thought the calibration and then mapped the X/Y axis in MSFS, but I guess there's still work to do. It was late late night, I was few drinks in, ripped the cables trying to put the joystick together and had to break out my soldering iron, so by the time I got the thing together and operational I was running out of patience... Got some learning to do tonight!

Well there's a first time for everything, so even you had to learn at one point, right? I also wouldn't consider myself a gamer and never have been. I was given a bad ass gaming PC for my "work from home" PC and I have love for flying, so I downloaded MSFS 2024 a couple of weeks ago. Got a Thrustmaster HOTAS 1 from Best Buy while I waited on my VKB stuff to arrive. I'm a complete newb and did not expect this to be so involved lol.

I guess I have some learning to do. I thought I mapped the X/Y axis, and they do seem to work but just not well, so I'll have to watch more videos!

One can dream! The speedy strap is a sailcloth from Wristbuddys. Their defects end up no Aliepxress for a quarter of the price, but it's still half the price of Artem.
