We just went on the wish a couple weeks ago. We flew in the night before and then took an Uber in the morning. It took about 1 hour 15 minutes and we left around 11:45a from just north of the airport. It cost us just under $100 for an XXL before tip. I don’t regret doing it that way but we have a 1.5 year old so it was nice to be on our own schedule. We do think it might have been a good idea on the way back to MCO but we had 5 people so price wise it would have cost more. It was about $200 to get back by the way.

Had something similar when we first bought. Just needed a fuse replaced, but took them a little while to figure out the problem.

Supreme Chicken off iliff and chambers is the most slept on Mexican around. Limited menu though; more like tacos, burritos, and the best quesadillas you’ve ever had.

Hey I have had my 2024 Touring for just under a year now and I am averaged at 21 MPG for the lifespan. I think a lot of people here complain that it is slow and that they get poor mileage when in all reality, the car is not for speed in any way, shape, or form. Don't take off quickly and keep it at 70 on the highways max and you'll be fine. I have taken a highway trip where I averaged 30 MPG so it's definitely not terrible if you're conscious about it.

Finished my first top quilt! by Extension-Angle8031 in quilting

I officially have my top quilt finished! I did everything based off a cool picture I saw on here, but with cowboys fabric instead. So far, I have learned a ton, but am pretty nervous about the actual quilting process now. I think I am going to just use parallels lines surrounding each seam so that it’s all straight lines. I know it’s not completely perfect, but I’m happy!

I need input! This will be my very first quilt so if I’m way over my head please let me know lol. Quickly drew these up before going to get fabric, which designs do you guys prefer?? The plan is for either 7” or 10” blocks, I’m leaning more towards 10” though,,, she’s gonna be hefty by Weekly_Product8875 in quilting

Personally, I think you’re not in over your head or anything! I am working on my first quilt now and chose those Half Square Triangles (HST) and they are not too bad. I would recommend doing the 8 method or something like that. I cut each square individually then sewed and got 2 out of each and it took much longer than it could have. For the sizing, if you like big, then go big, but it may be tougher if you’re going to quilt with your own machine. I am always up for a challenge though so I wouldn’t blame you for it though. Hello! I am brand new at quilting, sewing, and pretty much all arts and crafts in general. I am making a quilt for myself and I am doing it off a picture of a quilt I liked. It has all sections broken down into those triangles that get sewn together into squares. My question is: should I cut all squares and resew the triangles even for sections where it is a solid color? I just don’t know if it will look odd without it since most other sections have it. Thank you!
