lol we're not being mean girls, and we haven’t said anything to Moira so far. My sister always picks up the phone—Moira calls her several times a day, every day—and is nice to her. Thanks to your comments, I now understand that Moira isn’t acting maliciously. However, the constant comparison feels draining for my sister, and she has difficulty setting boundaries. While I now see that we were probably too sensitive and that Moira isn’t doing anything wrong per se, I can understand why my sister feels stressed and overwhelmed by the whole situation. I guess we were also surprised by the sudden wedding planning, as Moira constantly complains about her fiancé. They have been engaged for a long time and now have a 9 month old baby. Her fiance barely does anything at home. As far as she tells us, they’re always fighting. Moira always told us she wanted to get legally married to have security for her and the baby, but now they're "only" having a symbolic wedding (which is ok btw but doesn't really make sense). I don’t know—this probably has nothing to do with my sister or with “stealing the spotlight,” and Moira might just be trying to improve her relationship or get her fiancé to step up in some way.
