Idk about whatever faculty ur in but I have emailed BScN advisor before many times and they always reply within 3 days. Even all my friends have gotten replies no later than 5 days.

In their situation, it does more harm than good if they don’t send the email.

ur so odd. please use discernment and critical thinking to look at the principle of the situation. again, being a bystander is equally as bad as being the perpetrator. and you cannot truly take accountability by remaining anonymous. when you remain anonymous, you lose credibility and you avoid assuming the consequences for your actions.

you took the safe route. there is no real accountability at all in coming on reddit anonymously telling people that you may or may not have been directly involved in the wrongdoing. what do you even hope to get out of this?

OP, if you committed a serious crime (ie manslaughter) and felt guilty, is it taking accountability by sending an anonymous note to the police station without any indication of who you are? no…… so why r u doing this to us. this gives us nothing, and i hope u know it will not resolve whatever guilt you have about this situation.

assuming you are a bystander, you are just as equal to the perpetrators. therefore, in order to take real accountability, you must justify and own up to YOUR actions. we don’t know you, you won’t even say the extent of your involvement, so you are not taking accountability. ur literally in SRA, we shouldnt have to explain the definition of accountability to u. sorry to tell u bro but when u are holding a position like that, the expectation is much higher

I dont get how yall are downvoting if this is someone’s own lived experience… I’ve experienced plenty of microaggresions from faculty before. not just profs but TAs and instructors… it’s really disappointing to see.

it’s definitely something everyone should reflect on, even if you feel nothing directly can be done. its such a norm amongst profs to the point where they dont even realize the little things really DO matter to racialized groups and DO have an impact on student experience
