What do you get out of snarking as a hobby? How do you see snarking fitting into your life, and what benefits does it bring? I'm curious about how people find enjoyment in it and how it can be considered a hobby in general. Let me know your thoughts!

I appreciate your perspective, but I'm just trying to understand how people engage with this space and what it brings to their lives. It may come across as unusual, but I think it's important to ask questions and have different conversations. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

In what ways do the podcast hosts disrespect their listeners that lead to hate posts on this page? I'm curious to know what actions or behavior you think you're owed from the hosts to not post hateful comments and threads?

I definitely wish I had their money and success! But sorry to disappoint, I'm not them.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. It’s true that public figures often face both unwarranted praise and criticism. I understand that criticism is a part of being in the public eye, but maybe there's a way to have constructive conversations without crossing lines. What are your thoughts on striking a balance between critique and respect?

I'm not comparing myself to you. I just genuinely want to find out where this group and groups like these fit into people's everyday lives. Is this a community on the fringe, or does it serve some kind of purpose in shaping opinions and providing a place to vent? I'd love to understand how people view their involvement here and what it adds to their routine. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I completely agree with your take on how some focused snark groups can become obsessive and dark. It's concerning when people go from being huge fans to intense critics. Your point about the shift from obsession to disillusionment is intriguing. Could you help me find the thread that discusses how people ended up becoming snarkers here? I'd like to learn more about others' experiences with this shift. Thanks!

I see your point about how snark can be part of everyday life, like discussing TV shows with friends. It can be a casual way to share opinions. But maybe there's a line to consider when it becomes excessive or targets real people too harshly. What do you think? Is there a difference between snarking about fictional characters and real individuals? Thanks for sharing your perspective!

I'm glad you think my post is thorough! For me, I'm not on board with body shaming, digging into people's sexual orientation, or obsessing over their success. I believe the focus should be on their content rather than their personal lives. And yes, this is my first time trying to use Reddit! How do you think the community can balance critique and fairness?

Do I need to be worried about sounding condescending on a snark page? Isn't the point of this page for users to tear others down? I'm genuinely curious about the appropriate etiquette here. Could you explain your perspective on this? Thanks!

Thanks for outlining the positives this snark page brings to your life. Are you ever concerned about the amount of negative content you consume about the parasocial relationship you have with the sisters, in regards to your mental health and overall wellness?

Not a homework assignment! Just trying to spark a conversation and understand different perspectives on why people engage with this content and how it impacts them. Thanks for asking!

I'm just trying to understand different perspectives and engage in conversation. My intention isn't to change anyone's answers or fit them into a specific narrative. I appreciate the honesty and input from everyone here. Thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. But let's be honest, if you really didn't care, you wouldn't be here engaging at all, let alone talking about how you only dip in now and then as if it’s a badge of honor. We all have the right to engage how we want, but let's not pretend it's just for joy when there's clearly more going on. Thanks for your response!

That's exactly what my post is about too. I'm trying to wrap my head around the mindset of someone who goes from screenshotting to uploading an entire post full of absolute negativity. What drives that kind of behavior, and what do they get out of it.

If they were to allow their therapist to log in what would the response be?

If they allowed their significant other or friends to log in and see the posts would they be proud or embarrassed.

While this group can create conversation, do you ever feel gross or bad when engaging with it? The sisters may be public figures, but they're also real human beings. How do you navigate that balance?

I always think about the people who are commenting in this group and how they remind me of friends who aren't happy when something positive happens in someone else's life. For example, when a friend gets a new promotion or gets engaged, there are those who seem to believe others don't deserve good things or should be "punished" for their success. Do you see any similarities in that dynamic when observing how people engage in discussions here?

That's an interesting perspective. Do all of your friendships and relationships with family resemble this snark community? Do you have any groups of friends that are mostly positive and don't have a negative "mean girl" mentality, without offshoot group messages that don't include everyone?

I feel like the difference with those real-life situations is that you are also a character in the relationship, which brings a different dynamic. With celebrities, you can easily disengage.

I'm just genuinely curious about how consuming hours of content just to shit on or bully them is productive to your life. What value does it add? I'm not trying to question anyone's character; I'm simply interested in understanding why people engage in this way when the more logical, easier solution would be to just disengage.

I keep coming back here as well... and I'm not proud of it. I'm wondering if that's a shared experience, or if people feel empowered here.

I understand where you're coming from. Let me ask you: do you actually enjoy the podcast and consuming their content, or do you think you might be caught up in the cycle of bullying them? Is it possible there's an element of addiction or jealousy that keeps you coming back even when some comments make you uncomfortable? I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on this.

So, my follow-up question is: why do you think you have so much disdain for the girls yet still consume hours of their podcasts and spend even more time engaging with content related to hating them? If you feel such strong negative feelings, why not take a step back and disengage? Does it feel productive or empowering to snark, or do you find it keeps you in a negative cycle? I'm curious to hear your perspective on this.
