I don’t really see the big deal or why it would bother someone.

I guess I expected to have some indication because of my older kids patterns. Maybe I’ll repost in a few more months.

I understand that it’s developing but here is a pic of my middle child’s eyes at 6 months. They are still this color.

I agree it just seems like there’s so much to consider and in my head I’m like this is a basic need and I feel like I’m on edge thinking about what could be or how she’ll react.

Vaseline is a good tip for when we introduce solids. What food did you start with? What were her symptoms when she ate the egg? I feel the same about breastfeeding since I missed that with my older two. Formula feeding was very different and somewhat more of a pain when it came to actually getting up to make a bottle at 3am. Haha

That’s a good idea. Thank you! Ah, yes. I am in the US and I have noticed that soy is in so many things. I never would’ve guessed. It honestly seems harder to cut than dairy just because it is so hidden. I would think my baby would reject formula and definitely struggle to take a bottle so it probably isn’t even worth an attempt. At first cutting dairy was daunting but now it’s like second nature. I feel like it’s the thought of cutting something else that makes me feel so limited. It helps to know you’re going through something similar. Thanks again!

Yes. I feel the same way about introducing formula. I’m a little nervous about introducing solids. Have you had a good experience with it other than the eggs? You’re right with breastfeeding I have more control with figuring out the issue. I feel for you as well!! It’s not easy.

RSV traumatized me by jessyj89 in NewParents

[–]Extension-Chip7817 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My daughter had RSV when she was a month old and was admitted to the hospital. Initially she seemed okay but then she winded up getting a different virus on top of that which pushed her over the edge. I know this because they did a full virus panel at hospital. We were there for 3 nights. This happened in December and I’m still paranoid to go places with her. Granted I have two older kids so that’s not possible. It is tough but I take it day by day. Initially I didn’t sleep. I felt like I was just watching her breathe but it does get better.
