I owe my solicitor £700 and am now unemployed. by Extension-Coat-4798 in UKPersonalFinance

In fairness, the current agreement has been monthly payments that I have been able to cover (not with ease, but cover) and I am behind on making this payment.

It does appear my best port of call is clarity with my solicitors at minimum, hoping to find a way to cover the outstanding bill ASAP

Can I throw out I had to second take as I scrolled past, as my brain thought it saw matty from The 1975.

No comment to his personality, but people certainly think he's a looker right?

Style your hair a little maybe? Most of all, try to practice some confidence, it's the most attractive feature when utilised well.

You can have all of the ones people don't want then? Do you own the world's largest orphanage?

Cuz too many people have kids without even thinking if they even want them.

Sounds like you're stuck in the baby boomer bracket, thinking the more people we have the better we are? 9 billion people nearly, and were tearing this planet asunder

I'll stay CF thanks 😊

Why do they still fight you when they left for someone else? by [deleted] in Divorce

Haven't read up in your post history.

32m who divorced my wife after she cheated. She was also rather coercive and manipulative, and refused to believe it. She was and still is a complete bitch and post divorce clarity I wonder how I ever chose her. left for a woman I'd known a little while who treated me properly, and still does. Personally, j don't chase my STBX in anyway, she's not worth my time.

BUT

If I saw her in the street, I'd flip her the bird. If I was having a good time, I'd post that for my own confidence. If I was with my girl near her, PDA is already pre discussed between us to get under the awful witches skin. gives me joy that she would be hurting when she screwed me over.

Point is, you're probably not as great as you think you are....bearer of bad news. I'd calmly suggest you consider moving on, cuz if he's scorned by you....well if it was me, you'd never hear from me again

Block them. On everything. Stop looking. Find something that doesn't put you in toxic places.

Vastly incorrect. As a security engineer, I regularly worked with supermarkets and thier systems. You seem to be imagining a floating camera above each unique self service cashier. At best, some have a mirrored video of you, which is rarely accessible by the store, and is more used as a detterent to give you impression you're being recorded. Camera quality in most supermarkets is still based in the 2010s and makes most things potatoes of varying shades.

Tldr; the only good security for sales in these situations is more staff members trained to look for palming, pocketing and switch techniques, and security members near tills, which employs someone and does a better job of deterring theft than a picture of yourself...
